Controller Input Inconsistency | Linux

I'm trying to play rocket League through heroic on Linux (flatpak install). Everything is updated correctly from what I've been able to tell.

The issue I'm running into is that
-my right stick does not seem to be recognized
-my triggers are being recognized as the x and y axis of my right stick, respectively
-my bumpers are being detected as my start and select buttons.

Can someone explain to me how I am meant to setup my controller bindings as I am completely lost and the key binds page in rocket League is not what I need to use to fix this

I have updated the name as the triggers are showing the same results when using the controller to navigate through the heroic launcher

Is that as simple as running a sudo pacman -S xinputsudo pacman -S xinput or is it some AUR or flatpak install?

No, I mean your controller has to support XInput. wine/proton handle the API software side

After doing some more research, it looks like it's a Corsair/SCUF issue as the controller, while it supports xinput, requires iCue software to remap anything so it will be stuck broken until I have that software.

They even said they will not be supporting Linux with this controller, so guess I need to find a new controller if I want to fully switch to linux

you can try to leverage Steam input by running the game through a Steam shortcut
