Is Stream linked to R2 in the backend at all? Like when I'm uploading a video in the UI, is that actually going to an R2 bucket behind the scenes? Wanna ascertain if there are upload speed limits for an account due to this

Is that possible to know the video aspect ration using the cloudflare player? I would like to resize the parent of the iframe based on that. The runtime API doesn't have anything to help me on this, but is that any other way?

They've disclosed before in incidient reports for R2 (like when they rotated creds and caused r2 to fail), that Stream uses R2:

Are you expecting the stream to be anything other than 16x9? The iframe will resize itself to fit the parent div already

Also your front-end will have a way to make API calls before the page is loaded, just need to figure out the best way to handle it

The iframe is currently set up to dynamically resize to its parent, youll need to design your own flow here. Not quite sure what your use case is exactly. Are you regularly streaming at abnormal resolutions?

Looking into getting stream however wanted to see if there was any cloudflare provided example URLs that I could potentially plug into my product for a proof of concept before purchasing.

Not sure if cloudflare provides anything like this and currently unable to purchase even the smallest plan due to the currently ongoing billing issue (case already opened).

No but a video that is generated from a live input will have a liveInputliveInput field, with the value being the ID of the live input. When a stream is started, and a webhook is sent, that webhook will contain the video ID, which you can use to start some other process

Transformations are a new feature, the input limitations will be relaxed in the future. If your video was stored on Stream, you could use the clipping feature to produce a small MP4 video, then run that through Transformations

Stream will be best. If you went to R2, you would need to transcode or convert to HLS yourself, whereas Stream will handle MPEG-DASH and TS by default (I have uploaded plenty of 2+ hour TS files no worries)

The issue is that only the first video gets played. On subsequent videos, the handleSeen function is triggered with the correct video_id, but they do not get played.
