Thief 3 deadly shadows not working

tryong to get this working in heroic launcher using zorin

included is the error log file

im a complete linux noobie. Any ideas?

Game Log:
IMPORTANT: Logs are disabled.
Enable verbose logs in Game's settings > Advanced tab > 'Enable verbose logs' before reporting an issue.

doesn't look like your GPU supports Vulkan 1.3, so you would need to switch to Proton-Sarek

based on PCGamingWiki, Thief 1 + 2 are D3D6, which iirc is converted to OpenGL by Wine while Thief 3 is D3D9 which is converted to Vulkan by DXVK

Vulkan support reported by TechPowerUp for AMD GPUs can't be trusted all the time, sometimes Mesa supports more than the official driver did

Fair point. Still going to be an uphill battle with a 10 year old laptop iGPU
