thing is I tried with both. new_sqlite_classes throws

it's very awkward running locally, because the flow goes:

edit user code & run

but the APIs to create/edit users-workers seem to not have a local equivalent. so there's no (simple) way to save and test a change, which is pretty fundamental WFP interaction? Also makes it very hard to test the combined code when we add platform stuff to user-stuff

if there's a way to just run the production worker from local that would be one solution I think. interested how anyone else gets around this or what I'm missing

i guess i could deploy a proxy dispatch worker, then abstract a proxyOrRun method, if env.proxyDispatchUrl is set go via. that. anyone happen to know any best practice or workflow which would let us deploy and test scripts locally (local env, local dispatch worker, scripts either locally emulated or production ones)

maybe im not understanding but in my case I simulate local dev with treating the user code as a module and importing it before wrapping my own platform code around it to "hydrate" it. Also you can run dispatch locally with --remote to test deployed user workers

Everyone, I'm going bankrupt. My bill last month included a charge of $2,581.76 for Workers for Platform Scripts. The bill shows a quantity of 129,088 workers, a unit price of $0.02, and a total price of $2,581.76.

However, when I look at the console, I only have 4,628 workers. So, does anyone know how the 129,088 is calculated?

As for the frequency, yeah it'd be monthly, we'd encourage making sure to cleanup any unused scripts to make sure you're only billed for what you're actively using

Wow! This seems quite concerning I hope CF has a good answer for this. I've been wondering if it's the amount of workers that exist in a month or how workers that exist for one day and are deleted the next are billed

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand the binding capabilities in Workers for Platforms user workers (not the dispatch worker). Specifically:

Service Bindings: Can user workers have service bindings configured when they're uploaded to a dispatch namespace? The docs mention that service bindings "don't work in the Workers for Platforms model because User Workers are uploaded ad hoc" but it's not entirely clear if this means user workers can't have ANY service bindings or is this forbidding the use of Service Bindings as a replacement for the WfP dispatch mechanism itself?

I found this in the docs: https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/runtime-apis/bindings/service-bindings/#workers-for-platforms but it's not completely clear on the scope of the limitation.

Service binding documentation says that binded service worker must be deployed before the one that declares the binding. So if I have the service worker deployed would they be accessible from the namespace/user-workers called by the dispatch worker? https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/runtime-apis/bindings/service-bindings/#deployment

I assume that workers for platforms keep talking about customer user code and since it is "namespace" bound, they might not be available, but this programmable pattern tells me other common resources are available:

They can have service bindings but they must bind to non-wfp-workers
