how is ethane synthesis possible
Naaah
There is something so wrong with this
Grignard would never take anything except a proton if there's one available
It's ethyl magnesium bromide. Picks up proton
source

ig this is just wrong
but wont the O-R bond breaking be preffered
It won't be
Think about electronegativity differences
This is just outright bullshit tbh
yeah that makes sense
any idea bout A?
I'll see wait
Will have to make some hit and trial probably
i am getting butanol as A
some isomer of it to give iodoform
butan 2 ol works ig
omg that gives the correct (rounded off) ans
someone pls confirm if theres any other possibility
I don’t think there is
You’re right
