I want to maximize HIT rate and reduce load on origin with Tiered cache

Hi, there

I want my subdomain like abc.example.com to cache with highest HIT rate. Currently I use smart Tiered cache without Regional Tiered Cache. Should I consider to enable Regional Tiered Cache it's? My client came from multiple region and my goal to reduce load on origin is first priority over latency.

Any concern should I aware before I go with smart tiered + Regional Tiered Cache? If this no any concern point, why this is not auto enable? (I'm on enterprise plan)

If you're Enterprise you should have a CSM/support team who you can reach out to and talk to Solutions Experts/etc who can see your account/analytics and give more targeted suggestions

My understanding (and from the docs) is regional cache is more about cache latency, not cache hits, as it'll all fall back to the smart tiered picked upper anyway, could look into Cache Reserve depending on how critical avoiding origin load is for you

If I want to reduce origin load as much as possible, I need to go with setting Smart Tiered Cache + Regional Tiered Cache right?
If I proceed with setting on point 1, will that create an issue with the origin of some subdomains that use an Anycast IP? Does this mean I should instead separate those subdomains to avoid this problem? Am I understanding this correctly?
How about Custom Tiered Cache? Custom Tiered Cache is being considered for its potential to simultaneously reduce origin server load and leverage tiered caching with Anycast IP addresses?
