[One Step from Eden gog issue] Gog Cloud save miss identification

Heroic (linux) mentions the windows version of onestep from eden doesn't support cloud saves. The weird thing is the game does support cloud saves and the mac version of heroic (with mac native game) is able to detect cloud saves. Any ideas?

, but it resets after opening the game's settings once. I tested this by setting cloud sync to false for a game that does work, but it goes to true immediately

out of curiousity how does launch scripts work for heroic?

will heroic wait for script to run first then open game or will it run the script and open the game at same time?

it waits, and if you want to launch it in parallel you can make the script async so it ends and the other thing keeps running in the background, my PR when I implemented that has an example https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/pull/3565, I imagine you mean the before script

keep in mind that runs ouside wine, if you want to run something within the context of the game (like executed by wine), what you need is a custom .bat script set as an alternative executable

out of curiosity what happens if a script fails

example say you had a script to run rclone when opening the game/closing the game and you have an internet outage (so rclone cant sync to cloud)

we don't check the exit status, so the game will start normally
