Where do I cop some Baggy Raw/Selvedge denim?
Im looking for some nice fitting, good quality denim - preferably with that indigo/raw denim colour.
My price budget is ~£50-60.. Would I be able to get any for this price?
What brands should I look at?

Hi @Jake! The best way to get a good answer is to ask a great question.
Please consider including:
- Reference pictures of things you like or are looking for. The more the better!
- Pictures of you wearing things if you have fit questions.
- A specific budget in numbers. “Affordable" means different things to different people.
- Specific measurements: Chest and waist are far more useful than height and weight.
- Measurements of your favourite fitting clothing. Learning these measurements will go a long way in helping you shop online and secondhand!
- Whether you're happy to buy secondhand.
- Whether you prefer to buy in person or are open to shopping online.
- Your vague location, especially if that limits your options because of customs or access to stores. A country or continent is helpful.
- Timescales: Do you need something urgently, or can you wait for the right thing at the right price?
Also, please use the search function to see if a similar question has already been asked!
Uniqlo
Are you open to vintage/secondhand? If so, I have a nice pair from Polo Jeans Co that is pretty wide.

there some inspo of what im sort of looking for
Weekday. But you'll find getting selvedge or "quality" difficult at that price outside of second hand. Cuts like this will make it harder again. Honestly I'd just search on Vinted.
From what I understand that silhouette is closest to something like skater jeans, which there are plenty of secondhand, but this specific version of the skater jean cut in “Japanese raw indigo selvage denim 14oz” or whatever is a current trend that will make finding pairs like that tricky
I would say the best of your criteria to compromise on is the selvedge specifically, just get something in a dark wash and then you have the option of tons of old skater jeans with the huge balloon cut in those photos
And selvedge functionally means nothing at that budget
There is a reason shuttle looms aren’t used large scale anymore, the heritage is cool but the end product is, if anything, worse if you don’t get the super high end stuff
what should i search on vinted?
how do i know if its high quality and a good siloihette
Brands like JNCO and all of their clones have a huge variety of baggy and droopy cuts, they might also have some tacky patches or embroidery on the back, but a seam ripper can make that not a problem
The budget is going to make it tricky, I didn't see that at first sorry. I think looking at local skate shops is a good move, yeah.
https://ebay.us/m/N9Lszj not recommending these specifically, but these were like the first eBay result for “baggy dark wash skater jeans vintage y2k jnco”
eBay
Vintage Avirex Baggy Jeans Skull Y2K JNCO Skater Size 36x30 Grunge ...
Tagged 38 x 32 measures 36 x 30 10.5 leg opening 41.5 outseam 1926 B6
Also factor in that maybe not necessarily in those pics but often times when you see people with mad baggy jeans they're also sizing up and belting.
they look super good
would you say i get a size or two above what i am? waist wise
I wouldn't do that unless you can actually try them on honestly.
But just saying, it is a thing
i got a pair of weekday astros before and they arent as wide as i like, they seem quite relaxed ish
You can message sellers about the hem width if they don’t have it posted
And then measure your astros hem and make sure that you are getting something baggier
Also if secondhand really isn’t working out for you I’d check out some of the companies on MUSINA
There are thousands, but they have a pretty comprehensive review system for finding the best rated stuff
And lots of K-fashion I have seen has some truly massive baggy cuts
It will just be a trade off of quality for convenience
youll need to either increase your budget, or be prepped to gamble on secondhand or forget about raw/selvedge
how much should i be spending? And what brands?
how much are you willing to pay? the more specific you get in what u want from clothes, the higher the price
Ahhh, I have money for them. I just want good ones haha
are Jaded London ones good? Ive found a pair on vinted for £40

At £40 you just gotta worry about whether you like them. Jaded is fine as far as it goes, it's kinda H&M/Uniqlo tier fast fashion with more out there cuts or fabric choices. In all likelihood you're either gonna get bored of them or wear them to death and in either example "quality" doesn't matter too much, especially at forty quid.
I have some h and m ones rn, they look so good and i love them

they remind me of acnes so i copped them asap
£45 tho

would these work?
Chopper's advice above applies here
Just save a bit more money and buy a higher quality, better fitting pair that’ll last longer
