Q about non-full blocks and water

1. Are non-full blocks, such as bamboo, supposed to look like this and not improve the quality? 2. I turned off the Vanilla Fade Mode setting because the water boundary was less transparent with it, but now the boundaries of the water chunks are completely non-transparent. Can it be fixed? I'm on 1.21.8 and firstly set the DH settings to Extreme and then disabled Vanilla Fade Mode.

Solution:
You can try single pass fading, it will make water not have the ring, but the terrain underwater will still be bugged (a.k.a. the LOD wall will be visible when there is a height differance) You need to choose between 3 trade-offs...

1. Yes, DH only renders full blocks, so bamboo will look like this I would probably prefer this tbh or try shaders
