Low Quality Chunks
since Dh is on 1.21.6 now I changed from a similar mod that was giving me problems. Thing is this is how it looks, those chunks are close enough that default Minecraft should load them, only reason it doesn't is because our friend group is cheap and we use aternos for the server. My question is how do I up the quality.
For mods I have Dh, Sodium, Essential which we gave up on because we aren't all on at the same time and im using fabric

thats how DH looks, it doesn't render textures

You can play with DH noise texture settings
And maybe with fog
Those 2 configured properly make the LODs blend much better with vanilla than the default options
As a start try steps 8 and intensity between 8 and 16
those chunks are close enough that default Minecraft should load themdh partially covers vanilla render distance to allow smoothly fading into lods. you might want to try disabling fading (advanced -> graphics) to gain some vanilla render distance at the cost of a rather jarring looking border aside from that, try what miki said regarding noise
I guess increasing the overdraw prevention might also help a bit
