Questions about (AMD) PC to TV connection
So I just want to have a few questions clarified as I keep finding contradicting answers online. I’m about to build a PC hooked up to my TV to replace my PS5 in the long run. As I already own the Deck I thought I’d get everything on one platform, haha.
The PC will have the Ryzen 7 7700X and the Radeon 9070XT. The PC will be connected to the TV via HDMI and is a LG OLED C4 77“. So here’s what I’d like to know.

- Is HDR supported?
- VRR seems to be out of the question but I thought I’d still ask here.
- How reliable is the sleep function?
- Can I have a wake system via controller set up?
- CEC also seems to be out but again, thought I’d ask.
- I have a 5.1 surround system with Dolby Atmos support. Anyway to set that up, or should I just stay on 5.1?
- I‘m also gonna have to put in a WiFi chip onto my motherboard. Are there known issues with those? Any I should avoid?
