Cache Rules apply to all requests but also Worker subrequests/fetches and can be used to override setting. If your subrequest matches one, it'll apply to it.
Fetch has options to further override cache options, for more specific settings then Cache Rules and such

Cache API is a way to directly talk to cache, insert requests and match, but Cache API Does not supported Tiered Caching unlike normal fetch

I'm not sure which group to put this in. I'm building a Svelte kit worker (not on pages) with a durable objects. The documentation makes this seem possible but the details object class is not exported during the build. I feel like I'm resigned to build these as separate pieces and use a binding to connect them. Is that true? Under pages to workers migration docs it looks like I shouldn't have to do this

Is there a smart way to utilize / instruct the Cloudflare caches to always return from cache and remove it from cache soon as I get a PUT or DELETE request?
Or can't I directly talk to CDN Caches like that?

I know that Cloudfront has some "purge caches" option.

What I ended up doing was having a KV that stores the domains as the key and then the value points to which DB it is located in. Also, I added tenant_id on all my tables. This way a DB can have more than 1 tenant in it. But, I can also shard my tenants across multiple DBs if I wanted to.

I was also told another route I could have taken was just have each domain pointed to a Durable Object that contains its DB. And that would automatically scale. However, I like to have migration files to update my DB and I like having a dashboard for a DB so I can run queries on it. So I didn't go that route for now.

Hey anyone on the Cloudflare side with Zero Trust knowledge? Im trying to figure out the right way to use named tunnels within an on-prem deployment.

Current Setup:
- K3s cluster with a tunnel management container running cloudflared
- I create a named tunnel for each customer deployment, and use its tokens to activate it
- Each customer gets a Zero Trust CF application, with 2 policies attached:
- 1: Require customer-specific service token (which I also create)
- 2: Block all other requests
- Tunnels are associated with the customers CF App via the aud config
- Tunnels have ingress rules for target services with public DNS records created for endpoints
- At runtime I make a server side request to this tunnel with the authenticated users creds in the headers

This setup works, but it’s awkward to manage and has too many moving parts (app + service token + policy + tunnel + DNS).
Is there a more streamlined approach for managing customer named tunnels?
Are there recommended patterns for this use case that would simplify the architecture or should I be doing this a more “Cloudflare” way?

It thinks it needs "Account Settings" Read/Write
It might just not be supported for use with Account tokens as well, as you using a user token or an account token?

Ya, I just figured it out after I asked... I tested Account: Account Settings: Edit, but it needs Account: Account Settings: Read. Apparently Read isn't implied when you have Edit permissions like it is with other permissions. Need to explicitly give both permissions... weird.

Account API Tokens permissions are hidden(ish)? Like I can add them, but only if I start with an API token generator URL like so:

...they are able to be added that way, but are greyed out. They aren't available in the normal drop-downs, so the permission seems to be impossible to add to existing API tokens.

Basically I'd like to add a mechanism for my users that double checks that they have the correct permissions for a token, but not sure how to ask a thousands of users to add
