Sleep issue with OS version 2025901 and above.

Having issues with my desktop being able to sleep with kernel 6.16 and above. It goes to sleep then a second or two wakes up immediately without suspending anything to ram nor turning off the fans at all. Was able to fix it by rebasing to version 2025828.01 which is on kernel 6.15.something.

I do know there were some issues with ASRock boards and sleep mode.

Some of this may be helpful. Nothing specifies the ASRock 450 board, but some of that was pertinent to my 650, and might be to your 450.

using journalctl -r
i can see that the process stops after the AMD driver gives an error, is it the same with you Sen?

It being a split, something with power negotiation seems to make it where it won’t wake up my desktop from sleep whereas my other hand wired will, granted that one is on arduino pro micro while the split is dual rp2040 micro

i found out after i tried disabling ACPI wakeup sources, and when i disabled an XHC (usb) one, the issue disappeared

then i decided to one by one unplug devices, and after i unplugged the mouse receiver, no more sleep issue
