I’ve been dealing with this issue for a bit: I have two live inputs both streaming to the same destination (e.g. Twitch). At first, only one input is enabled. When I switch the inputs by disabling the first input and enabling the second input, viewers see an offline screen for a few seconds. Is there a way to make input switching seamless so that the stream doesn’t appear disconnected during the switch?

Is it possible for a worker to "watch" a live stream (from a RTMP stream) and process it, such as for AI or similar workflow? Realtime kit wouldn't be appropriate, as it needs to be a RTMP based input, not a custom sdk

You would need to stream into a separate system, such as OBS, or another video switcher system, to make this work.
Twitch works because it auto reconnects on changes, but a destination like YouTube or others prolly would just fail when you fail over to another feed

hello guys, I've been running for a issue since a long time ago. I have a huge delay on some chunks while trying to upload a video using "direct upload" + tus. As you can see at the screenshot, some requests took almost 2 minutes and then failed.

The video has near 250mb and at the dev tools screenshot, the used chunk size is 64mb
I've also tried using a smaller( 20mb ) chunk size, but cloudflare took more then 3 minutes to complete the upload.

tbh today it's worse, but in general my uploads usually take too long. specially when users switch broswer tabs or when it switch apps on mobile

Looking at setting up a small streaming app that allows users to register and get a streaming key that they can then use for live streaming, but we do the heavy lifting and automagically create the streaming endpoints on Cloudflare. We're looking at a few different providers but we're already using stream for uploading existing videos, and with the clipping already built in I'm hoping that CF can handle all our needs.

TL;DR - LiveU SRT flowing through Cloudflare Stream, SRT playback works but customer m3u8 and recording does not exist???

Wondering if anyone has a similar experience to me....
I know LiveU (Solo + LRT) is the cause of many a woe with its lack of reporting errors, no feedback on connection status, not accepting rtmp parameters, etc. but I have a specific issue I'm looking at.

I decided to experiment with Cloudflare Stream as a gateway for two remote LiveU Solos with LRT to SRT to provide a single hop SRT connection to a remote vMix producer.

Once dialled in, the two LiveUs stay in sync all day long. Playback via the Cloudflare SRT output. No problem at all. However I noticed that the camera sessions weren't being recorded! 2 seconds or 'problem encoding'. Two four hour streams that cloudflare doesnt seem to think existed but the end to end was uninterrupted.

Last night I used a produced output direct into cloudflare stream via LRT + SRT and the same thing - it was there, it was readable over SRT playback, but no event recording and crucially this time - no customer side m3u8 playback.

I asked the producer to switch over to RTMPS output from LiveU and it was fine - absolutely normal.

Anybody else experienced anything like this, and know of any fix? I actually dont mind these long running CAMERA sessions not being recorded, but the Production TX not being recorded could be problematic.

Are they longer than 4 hour streams? I've used LiveU Solos with Stream a bunch and haven't had any issues like this. I don't use SRT though, just RTMP

Almost always use vMix direct to CF; but in this situation its multi cam remote production i had to solve; and then last night, production from a remote location they used liveu to balance bonding -- and same issue. So, all LiveU LRT SRT
