1Currently you can only get live viewer numbers via API. I'm hoping they make all of the metrics/events from live inputs available eventually
HHi, is there any plan for custom playback domain for Cloudflare Stream? (I mean the one used for serving videos not for ingestion)
JLooking at setting up a small streaming app that allows users to register and get a streaming key that they can then use for live streaming, but we do the heavy lifting and automagically create the streaming endpoints on Cloudflare. We're looking at a few different providers but we're already using stream for uploading existing videos, and with the clipping already built in I'm hoping that CF can handle all our needs.

I decided to experiment with Cloudflare Stream as a gateway for two remote LiveU Solos with LRT to SRT to provide a single hop SRT connection to a remote vMix producer.
Once dialled in, the two LiveUs stay in sync all day long. Playback via the Cloudflare SRT output. No problem at all. However I noticed that the camera sessions weren't being recorded! 2 seconds or 'problem encoding'. Two four hour streams that cloudflare doesnt seem to think existed but the end to end was uninterrupted.
Last night I used a produced output direct into cloudflare stream via LRT + SRT and the same thing - it was there, it was readable over SRT playback, but no event recording and crucially this time - no customer side m3u8 playback.
I asked the producer to switch over to RTMPS output from LiveU and it was fine - absolutely normal.
Anybody else experienced anything like this, and know of any fix? I actually dont mind these long running CAMERA sessions not being recorded, but the Production TX not being recorded could be problematic.

1Are they longer than 4 hour streams? I've used LiveU Solos with Stream a bunch and haven't had any issues like this. I don't use SRT though, just RTMP
DAware what you're asking, but thats not relevant to the issue im experiencing - its instant

Dlike 2 seconds, 2 seconds, error, error, error, 2 seconds. with SRT. (but the SRT playback FROM cloudflare on that same INPUT channel is uninterrupted)

DI dont have LRT on my own LiveU so i cant do any testing personally, but assume someone in this ecosystem has to be 
1Does vMix send straight to your endpoint? I use an additional live input and restreaming to record both my camera inputs and mixed outputs

DAlmost always use vMix direct to CF; but in this situation its multi cam remote production i had to solve; and then last night, production from a remote location they used liveu to balance bonding -- and same issue. So, all LiveU LRT SRT

AHi guys. I need to make it so that all my videos uploaded to Cloudflare Stream have a thumbnail taken from the third second of the video. I’m trying to use a PowerShell command for this, but I keep getting a 404 error. Does anyone know how this can be done automatically for a batch of videos?

JIs there a roadmap for Stream that details if 2160p might become available for HLS streams ?
Dwere you able to have a look at this? I've had another stream this evening, a two different liveus from a different location - same thing, 2secs or 22secs and 'error' on the pre-event and event connections despite signals routing through cloudflare, out the other end to vmix producer for three hours straight. bizarre!
JI don't suppose I'm able to trial Stream before committing to $5 month ?

1I can't seem to get SRT working on my unit at all, no LRT. I can't really purchase LRT just for this test cos the unit won't be getting used for events for the next 6 months so can't really justify the cost

I'd also love to be able to export MOVs with a transparency layer. The plan is to take clips produced by Live Instant Clipping and add top/tail clips, and figured doing that natively on-platform would be faster than either writing a Worker or moving off-platform entirely
On the topic of feature requests, I'd love to be able to add images/videos as overlays to live streams. We can apply watermarks to uploaded videos, but adding that as a live feature would be sick. Customizable stream delay would also be cool, like if I have multiple RTMP re-streams, would be cool to be able to define different delays on each output

1Webhooks in Stream are confusing cos you need to use the REST API to subscribe to events about videos, but then have to use the dash UI for events about live inputs and the distinction isn't made obvious

DAnyone know why I'm getting 413 responses when trying to playback a video? It seems to happen for certain parts of a video only, but that particular section that it happens in is seeminly random. This is using the default cloudflare stream player, but I've done VideoJS HLS and Dash, as well as ffplay with dash, same results.

DYeah...I've seen that but that has to do with uploads, I'm just trying to watch a video that's already uploaded. What's really odd is it happens with the cloudflare player. I could see if I was using some third party player that it might be caused by that, but I'm not trying to do anything special here.

NHi all, I'm having a hard time implementing LLHLS on iOS specifically. It works fine on my Linux desktop, Android etc. It works fine if I use regular HLS but the second I add protocol=llhls to the manifest URL my iPhone won't play the stream (I get no response from cloudflare when it tries to DL mp4 segments). I tried using the iframe version but on iOS (17.1 btw) I get unknown error - again, it works great everywhere else (2-3 s latency). It works with regular HLS but with ~30s latency which is too much delay for my app. Is there anyone who has any ideas?
Mquestion - My apologies, if someone have already ask this question. If i am using "WebRTC (WHIP/WHEP)" for streaming the video, where can i find the key for it. Like in the Live inputs in the steam section have RTMPS url and key in the connection section. But on the same page i couldnt find the key for WHIP.
