Comfy carpenter pants in better sizes?

32 is too annoyingly tight and 34 is loose enough where I have quite a bit of extra room in the waist andmy crotch has too much fabric forming a triangular fold in the front. Unfortunately, dickies does not seem to have a size 33..
I like the overall cut/silhouette and how deep the front pockets are as well as the subtly stretchy fabric. Does anyone have any suggestions on other brands that might carry a similar style? Maybe I can try them out and get a better fit. Alternatively, is there a way I can tailor them so that awkward fabric bunching in the front disappears and also get my waist decreased by maybe an inch? But I only paid $45, so if it’s way too expensive then maybe it doesn’t even make sense to alter these. Probably its better if I get some other brand of carpenter pants. Does anyone have suggestions?
