Hi guys. I need to make it so that all my videos uploaded to Cloudflare Stream have a thumbnail taken from the third second of the video. I’m trying to use a PowerShell command for this, but I keep getting a 404 error. Does anyone know how this can be done automatically for a batch of videos?

You have to do it video by video, and updating video details is a POST request

were you able to have a look at this? I've had another stream this evening, a two different liveus from a different location - same thing, 2secs or 22secs and 'error' on the pre-event and event connections despite signals routing through cloudflare, out the other end to vmix producer for three hours straight. bizarre!

I can't seem to get SRT working on my unit at all, no LRT. I can't really purchase LRT just for this test cos the unit won't be getting used for events for the next 6 months so can't really justify the cost

any reason why you can't go RTMP from LiveU to CF, then SRT from CF to vMix?

Is there any plan to expand Media Transformations to include functionality like stitching multiple videos together? I'd also love to be able to export MOVs with a transparency layer. The plan is to take clips produced by Live Instant Clipping and add top/tail clips, and figured doing that natively on-platform would be faster than either writing a Worker or moving off-platform entirely

On the topic of feature requests, I'd love to be able to add images/videos as overlays to live streams. We can apply watermarks to uploaded videos, but adding that as a live feature would be sick. Customizable stream delay would also be cool, like if I have multiple RTMP re-streams, would be cool to be able to define different delays on each output

Webhooks in Stream are confusing cos you need to use the REST API to subscribe to events about videos, but then have to use the dash UI for events about live inputs and the distinction isn't made obvious

Anyone know why I'm getting 413 responses when trying to playback a video? It seems to happen for certain parts of a video only, but that particular section that it happens in is seeminly random. This is using the default cloudflare stream player, but I've done VideoJS HLS and Dash, as well as ffplay with dash, same results.

Yeah...I've seen that but that has to do with uploads, I'm just trying to watch a video that's already uploaded. What's really odd is it happens with the cloudflare player. I could see if I was using some third party player that it might be caused by that, but I'm not trying to do anything special here.

Hi all, I'm having a hard time implementing LLHLS on iOS specifically. It works fine on my Linux desktop, Android etc. It works fine if I use regular HLS but the second I add protocol=llhls to the manifest URL my iPhone won't play the stream (I get no response from cloudflare when it tries to DL mp4 segments). I tried using the iframe version but on iOS (17.1 btw) I get unknown error - again, it works great everywhere else (2-3 s latency). It works with regular HLS but with ~30s latency which is too much delay for my app. Is there anyone who has any ideas?

question - My apologies, if someone have already ask this question. If i am using "WebRTC (WHIP/WHEP)" for streaming the video, where can i find the key for it. Like in the Live inputs in the steam section have RTMPS url and key in the connection section. But on the same page i couldnt find the key for WHIP.

I’m using Cloudflare Live Inputs to ingest a stream and then push it out to different providers. One of the destinations is Google Livestream API.

I’ve noticed that sometimes the stream to Google or other providers gets disconnected — even though Cloudflare still shows the input as connected and other destinations remain stable. When this happens, I have to manually disable/enable the output to get it working again.

Is there any way to get more detailed logs or diagnostics from Cloudflare Live to understand why the stream to Google drops?
Are there any known limitations or rate constraints (e.g., concurrent streams, bandwidth limits, RTMP reconnect behavior) that could cause this type of issue?

Any guidance or pointers would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I’m having an issue with video playback in my app (using Cloudflare Stream with a React player). The videos play fine for me, but some users report that the video has no sound. We confirmed the videos are not muted and the volume is up.

Key points:

The issue happens only on specific videos, not all of them.
It happens across devices (Android, iPhone, Web).
Not all users face this problem.
The audio stream does exist (checked with

, codec is AAC LC, 48 kHz stereo).

### My setup:

Cloudflare Stream hosting the videos.
ReactPlayer (wrapped around HLS).

### My question:

What are the possible reasons only some videos lose audio across devices for only some users, even though they have valid AAC audio streams?
Is there a recommended way to validate or re-encode videos for Cloudflare Stream to avoid this issue?
Is there a way to get more meaningful error info from the player for debugging?

Any insights or debugging tips would be really helpful.

if each student watches all 150 hours of videos once, it will be 44,950,000 minutes delivered (minus 50,000 included), so $44,950, as it's $1 per 1,000 minutes delivered (or $0.001 per minute)
