Permanent Ban – False Detection of Third-Party Software (Request for Manual Review)
I’m reaching out because my Valorant account has been permanently banned with the stated reason being the use of third-party software, cheats, or scripts. I want to make it absolutely clear that I have never used any cheats or unauthorized tools. The only software I’ve ever used alongside Valorant is OBS and MSI Afterburner, purely to improve my gaming experience and monitor performance.
Lately, I’ve seen many reports and videos on Twitter and YouTube from players talking about false bans, and I truly believe I’ve become one of them. I’m 18 years old and have worked hard to afford the skins and content I’ve purchased, so losing my account like this is extremely painful and discouraging.
What hurts the most is that when I try to appeal, the response is always the same: “You were using cheats, and the case is closed.” There’s no real explanation or proof, and reopening the ticket just leads to the same response again and again. I’m not asking for special treatment—just a fair and thorough re-investigation of my case by someone who can truly take a closer look.
I fully understand how difficult it is to review bans and how strict your policies must be, but this situation has gone too far. I know 100% that I did not cheat, and it’s heartbreaking to feel powerless when I’ve done nothing wrong.
Please, in good faith, I kindly ask that you review my case carefully once more. Not just for me, but for the many others who might be affected by similar false bans. Just take a look at the discussions happening on social media people are genuinely suffering from this issue. It’s truly sad to see, and I hope Riot can do something to make it right...
