RHi Folks. I've been banging my head against the wall for 2 days now trying to get webrtc realtime streaming to work using Cloudflare's stream. I've tried this example (https://github.com/DavidJKTofan/webrtc-demo), but no luck. Does anyone has a link to a working example?
1What part are you trying to get working? You can use OBS to test WHIP and I use the EYEvinn WebRTC web player demo to test WHEP endpoints
1I also just tested that repo and was able to get it working with his provided endpoints immediately
RIt works with whep and whip on a single page, but not when you visit /whep and /whip on separate browser windows.
RSo, I think the viewing part is not a problem, but the broadcasting part I can’t get to work. It indeed does work using OBS though.
1Thats interesting it worked perfectly for me in that use case. Do you have any browser extensions that might cause issues?
RYeap, it does work in incognito window. I just need to figure out what causes it not to work in a regular window.

The problem is that to the best of my knowledge that chunking approach is not valid for mp3 files. So this workflow is missing a key step which is splitting the audio file into valid chunks to be transcribed. Is there a way to create valid mp3 chunks?

QHi there, I'm trying to create a live input where the number of viewers is hidden. According to the documentation for creating a live input, it seems there is a hideLiveViewerCount parameter (https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/resources/stream/subresources/live_inputs/methods/create/), but it doesn't seem to be working. Even when creating an input with this value set to true, I still see the number of viewers displayed on the player. What am I doing wrong?
1You aren't doing anything wrong, I just don't think that works at the moment. You could use a different player, or also maybe hide the div that holds the viewer count. I just checked and 2 differetn embed codes have the same CSS class for the viewer count div so maybe you could target and hide that div specifically?
QThanks for your reply. It seems that the feature isn’t working properly, which is surprising considering it was released earlier this year. I’m going to use an alternative player. Do you know if this could cause issues with the live metrics on the dashboard (such as the viewer count, for example)?
1I think live viewer count in the dash is reliant on using the default player, @JDGamingTV might have a bit more clarity on this

JI have the bundler plan, and I'm trying to upload a video with a signed URL, but I get a 413 error. The video is approximately 400 MB and is 10 minutes long. When I generate the signed URL, everything works fine, but when I try to upload it, I get the error. Smaller videos upload without any problems.

IYou need to use https://developers.cloudflare.com/stream/uploading-videos/direct-creator-uploads/#resumable-uploads for any videos over 200MB.

1I think my plan will be to use #containers-beta to run ffmpeg instances that somehow ingest and export MP4 clips of WebRTC streams. I'll definitely reach out if I come up with something. In the past I was using RTMP/HLS extensively, but have recently been looking into webRTC for the major latency improvements, but overall support isn't where I'd want it to be at the moment
Ci'd love to learn anything I can learn. I'm a housebound CHF patient so I spend most of my time trying to learn things, build things..... design things... and so anywhere I can learn, I truly appreciate the opportunity to do so. And yeah, the webrtc/whip latency is something else.... like... it's almost mindblowing almost
1Yeah the latency improvements are so good, in the past my pipeline was like 15-30 seconds end to end, but now I'm looking at 3-5seconds max which is crazy for me
Cyeah I was sitting here earlier using the CF url....and I had OBS on one monitor and the dashboard w/ player on the other monitor and it was really ....really close
1Its gonna unlock a bunch of cool workflows for me, just wish it supported basic stuff like recording!

CSo how many people have battled the "Stream has not started yet." message, when you know the stream is going perfectly from someone's OBS.
1What are their OBS output settings? Have they tried another input? I've had instances where an input just refuses to work with a specific user's OBS instance for no good reason, but works with another one no worries
CI'm not sure of their settings but there are multiple users on this platform so trying to get everyone "in line" or "on the same settings" is going to be next to impossible
CReally thought because it's Cloudflare that it would be reliable and "simply just work" lol

I tried upgrading my subscription plan to increase the storage limit, but every time I attempt the payment/upgrade, I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
