Installer exits, code -11.
I’ve been trying to install Bazzite for a few days with no luck. I’m aiming for dual boot Windows/Bazzite, both being assigned around 950GB. I eventually got to the point where I uninstalled Windows completely so I have to start over there.
Here’s the error:
The command ‘ostree container image deploy —sysroot=/mnt/sysimage —image=/run/install/repo/bazzite-nvidia-open-stable —transport=oci —no-signature-verification’ exited with code -11.
I am not familiar with Linux well enough to know what that means. I can’t find any references to that issue occurring for anyone with Bazzite specifically. Problems have occurred from the start. Choosing install bazzite or test media and install bazzite, I get a black screen and nothing happens after. I eventually saw someone suggest to use Troubleshooting > install bazzite with basic graphics drivers (or something like that). The installer configures the manual mounts that I’ve set up, attempts to deploy the image, and runs into this error.
I’ve used different flash drives, redownloaded the iso 4-5 times, used Fedora Writer then Rufus (DD) to create the boot drive. Using Nvidia iso. Secure boot disabled. Fast Boot disabled. Manual mounts configured for shared drive in installer.
My setup is a Razer Blade 16 (2024).

Edit: I should add, I just attempted to get to the installer again and I now have the error message “Pane is dead (signal 11 [date]).” after attempting to open it. Looks like it’s in something called anaconda. This is miserable!
