Immich not uploading pictures from camera: Failed to create thumbnail

Currently Immich has marked 313 assets as remainder - but they are not getting uploaded. Looking at the logs in the app (app version 2.3.1 build 3028, server version 2.3.1) I'm seeing the following errors: https://pastebin.com/raw/8XnPuS07
I'm on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G and Immich is running in Docker.

Oh shit it works using local IP instead of reverse proxy

Soo what does that mean? Why does it work fine with screenshots? I can't see anything size related in the nginx settings: https://pastebin.com/raw/tbL7n2pM
It's uploaded all remaining pictures. I will now do some tests
