You will need to submit a claim in-game to have your email address unlinked by the customer service.

To do this, tap on the Customer Service tab > Unlinking Accounts > Submit Claim. You will receive your claim results in-game and if your claim is successful, the email address which is currently linked to your account will be unlinked.

Additionally if you have a mobile number linked to your account, you can enable secondary verification through your Account settings of the game. After enabling secondary verification, log out of your PUBG MOBILE account from all devices one time, the unauthorized user should not be able to access your account after that.

If you are unable to turn on 2 factor verification for your mobile number, or unlink the login method of the thief, your only option is to wait for the results.

If the results are negative, you can submit a new unlink request and make sure you answer each and every question accurately. You can also keep logging into your account until you are able to change the linked email address yourself.
