Security Center recommendation “Review & Block AI Bots” still showing as not remediated

We recently enabled a security recommendation from Cloudflare Security Center related to “Review and block AI bots from accessing certain assets.”
What we did:
We reviewed the recommendation and blocked AI bots at the zone level
The rule was applied to all pages / all assets
After applying the change, we re-ran the Security Center scan
Issue:
Even after blocking AI bots and rescanning, the recommendation is still showing as “not blocked / not remediated”
It has been more than 3 days, but the status hasn’t updated
Questions:
Is there a known delay for Security Center recommendations to reflect changes?
Does this recommendation require specific rule types (e.g., Bot Management, WAF rule, or AI bot categories only)?
Are there additional conditions or exclusions that Security Center checks before marking this as resolved?
Any guidance or clarification would be really helpful.
