Switch to Desktop not closing Steam and going back to GDM.
I have a Steam Deck running Bazzite with Gnome and whenever I click on Switch to Desktop it just gets stuck with the "Switching to desktop" overlay.
I have to open a new TTY and kill Steam to get it to exit properly which I do with
As for causes to why this is happening is probably related to me trying to enable GDM as the login manager for the bazzite-deck-gnome image which I did by enabling the GDM service and disabling the SDDM service.
When I first started troubleshooting this I was recommended to try the dx image so I rebased to that with
