Certain games on Steam will freeze the display when the window is focused

Display returns back to normal after alt-tabbing to some other window but when it is focused, my display completely freezes. I know my computer didn't crash because the audio still plays and the display go back to normal when a different window is focused. I have the logs as well in the file. This also happens on the steam flatpak on Aurora as well. Using gamescope or scb fixes the issue but that is just a quick workaround and doesn't resolve the real issue. This happens when I play Kletka on steam and also happens on Universe Sandbox 2. Only on certain games and other games run without issue. Does anyone know what would cause certain games to freeze my display?
