Since my Rapido recently died I immediately bought a Rapido 2F UHF as a replacement. Swap went like a charm, I changed the printer.cfg for the PT1000 the new HE came with and ran the PID_Calibrate macro. First print looked promising. Then I suddenly heard the extruder skipping.
Paused the print and tried to unload the filament, not possible. Hotend was at 225° with PLA. I verified that the Hotened is really hot. Had to open the orbiter Extruder and pulled out the filament with pliers and some gentle force. The end had cylindrical form but thicker than the filament so I guess it somehow melted inside the heat break.
Any ideas?
