Bug: Slack Socket Mode not receiving private channel events
Environment:
- Clawdbot: 2026.1.24-3
- OS: macOS (Darwin 25.2.0 arm64)
- Node: v25.4.0
- Slack: Socket Mode
Issue:
Private channel messages don't trigger agent sessions. DMs work fine. Socket connects successfully, logs show "channels resolved", but incoming channel events don't arrive.
Config:
Verified:
- Channel is private (
- Bot is member (
- Slack app has
- Socket mode connects (logs confirm)
Suspicion:
Private channels require
Note: Gateway restarts temporarily fix it, then it goes stale again after ~30min.
