I pretty new to Linux, I only changed to Bazzite in December.
Yesterday I installed Garuda Dr460nized Edition and deleted Bazzite to see how they compare, and while performance started off well, it got worse fast.
Today I reinstalled Bazzite over Garuda, hoping it was just an issue with the distro, but now I have the same performance on Bazzite too.
I completely deleted everything on the SDD that Linux runs on both times.
Two examples:
Crysis Warhead before ran at 120 fps with everything maxed (I cap my games at 120 fps), now it just runs between 40 to 50 fps.
Resident Evil Village ran around 110 to 120 fps with everything maxed including Ray Tracing, now I only get around 50 fps too. Even with Ray Tracing off I only get to 60 to 70 fps.
Does anyone now what caused this and how I can fix it?
Here are my system informations if they help:
