can't tell about IL2, but it should work pretty good since the game has native FFB support. --- it's hard to describe, but the Rhino wipes the floor with any spring-centered joystick...
You could let it drift in dcs and fs2020 too by mixing in the aoa telemetry value which is accessible by the export.lua. Do you plan to get telemetry from fs2020 too ?
If it does not by default @walmis could implement it and make it adjustable linear by a slider or by a graph where you could adapt a function you define by some points. Perhaps this an idea for the future wishlist?
I want to ask some questions about the project/product, it is open source like i can build myself a similar one? If the answer is yes, will you sell only the USB board or the diagram of the board?
Check the FAQ channel. Design is not open source, but you can buy motors and electronics from VPforce and build your own gimbal like some guys have done. Check the Showcase channel for different designs.
@vulkan607 perhaps you have a multimeter ? One missing piece of information is the pinout from the VKB grip contact PCB -> 4 wire connector mapping. That could be found out with continuity test.
I am a bit confused. On the connection diagram the PSU is connected to MOT1 and Motor 2 to PWR. Is this correct? The motor wires are blue and yellow. Which wire is + and which -?
