Unable to rebase from bazzite to bazzite-dx
I managed to solve it, and I am not sure why I didnt try it this way initially but I'll put it out there in case anyone else stumbles upon this and tries it the same way: Instead of running sudo bootc switch --enforce-container-sigpolicy ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-dx:stable, my rpm-ostree status like the other post is mentioning, I ran rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-dx:stable instead. Interestingly, rebasing into ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-dx:stable will also fail with the same error, despite the sha256 digest being identical (which I'm assuming means I should be pulling an identical deployment).

Unable to rebase from bazzite to bazzite-dx
When rebooting, the bazzite-dx deployment doesnt show up in the grub menu and I am booted back bazzite, with rpm-ostree status now giving me:

Definitely strange that I was never able to get the actual installer to work properly, but at least the kinoite into bazzite route worked out in the end.

Alright, it did fail on the first attempt on rebasing, I got an error: Bus owner changed, which I was getting whenever doing anything rpm-ostree related. So I reinstalled Kinoite again and now the rebasing into bazzite seems to have worked!

Ah, I did try installing bazzite kde back then. The message from post is when I tried installing bazzite-gnome in hopes it would be different.

I did try installing kinoite and that worked but I had trouble rebasing. I will actually try going that route again and post the error I get on rebase attempt

It looks like it is still happening, even after making sure to clear all partitions and recreating the partition table :/

Kay, I'll try clearing it again, I used a gparted live disk for this purpose, which I am assuming should be fine?

I'd really like to try some other solutions to make bazzite work (especially since it did work before), but I am also really out of options. I'll probably try a few more things, but will consider Nobara as a last resort.

Does that mean installing something else, running the VM there and then installing to the raw disk? Since I have 2 SSDs, I guess that means installing something like Fedora Kinoite (which seems to work for me) on disk A, running virtualbox there and then have it install Bazzite on disk B?

As a side note, I have installed Bazzite on this PC before so I know it should definitely work (or at the very least, used to work before).
