checksum numbers are not matching up...
Well, after failing with this I asked pc specialist if there was a block on other operating systems, they didn't answer that but suggested I do a fresh install of windows 11 and then they would help me get it working properly. So I installed windows 11 and it also failed to install.
Gave up and let my IT mate have a look at it, turns out the SSD was knackered. She has put a new one in and reinstalled windows 11 and its now working perfectly again. For now anyways... I don't have another SSD drive, but if I bought one in a casing can I put Bazzite on that whilst plugged i through the USB? Will that work?

I see, so if I follow your video again, do all the partitions the same but with a different iso that should do it! OK I'll give that a try...

ive just used mini tool to remove the partitions i had created in bazzite from your video. all i have left now is the free allocated space partition(and windows ones of course) ... im now going to try again following your video and ill see what happens 🙂 i am determined to get this done...

very strange because i definitely put them in... as you can see it let me past this point and onto the installation when i first tried it, showed no errors... only to come up with an error once installation had started... so, is it best for me to clear the partition with mini tool and then try it again?

thanks Mike, ill get on this in a few days and come back to you...been having problems with windows 11 hence the desire to switch but i think ive improved it now so with a bit of luck ill be able to carry out the bazzite process...

when selecting bazzite image it asks to choose primary GPU. how do i know which GPU is primary?
