Hostnames bad gateway
Is the service even listening on localhost? What does localhost resolve to on the server? Are the tunnel and service "separated" by anythin like a vm or docker that would require rozting?

Cloudflare tunnel for home lab mailserver
Running your own mailserver is a cool hobby (I'm also running my own mailserver). But it's simply not practical to run a mailserver from home. You need a static IP with the ability to set reverse DNS records for that IP. The "workaround" for running a mailserver from home is generally to run a mailserver somewhere else and have it forward emails to your server. That's a much more complicated setup and just makes your mailserver at home superfluous at best. I really don't want to discourage you from running your own mailserver. But if you want to make it work, get a VPS or root server that does not block port 25 and has a good IP reputation.

Cloudflare tunnel for home lab mailserver
I'd recomnend to simply not run a mailserver from home. You will run into all sirts of problems.

Cloudflare tunnel for home lab mailserver
You can't use a tunnel to set up a public mailserver.

I don't understand the question. It will be public, not using Cloudflare proxy.

Your TS ip will always be exposed, you can't proxy it (with Cloudflare, at least)

How to connect to TCP service on mobile?
You'd have to setup a private network rather than use public hostnames (I believe) and then use WARP on the client: https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-networks/private-net/cloudflared/

Help Needed: Cloudflare DNS & Shopify Domain Issue (Error 1001 / Site Not Loading)
That sounds like the users can't connect to Cloudflare in the first place, which is usually an issue with the ISP.

Help Needed: Cloudflare DNS & Shopify Domain Issue (Error 1001 / Site Not Loading)
I'd guess that's just DNS cache if it works for some and not for others.

I am trying to setup a new domain in my CF account, getting "Invalid nameservers"
Please check that you a) spelled the domain correctly and b) the zone status at the top is not "finish setup".

Please check which nameservers are assigned to your domain on Cloudflare. I see that you set rosa/jimmy, but only jay/tegan respond for your domain.

Origin Rule Limited to 8080 and 80
I'd still recommend to use https with the tunnel or you're stuck with http1 instead of http2. Tunnels sadly don't support h2c.

There's no such limitation. How exactly did you try to connect?

Multiple hosting?
It's possible, but only (somewhat) reasonable if you have an Enterprise plan. There are workarounds with Workers, but I'd really recommend that you use a subdomain and maybe a redirect as @rdm mentioned.

Issue with CloudFlare response
Just another quick question: Could you check which http versions Cloudflare and direct visitors used to connect to the server?
