Resolved by rolling back OS version:
bazzite-rollback-helper rebase stable-42.20250417
If you're new to bazzite and you've found this thread, feel free to try a rollback but please do not stay on an old version forever.

I'm just asking because if you use linux on your desktop and linux on your ally and no windows is involved at any point; there are situations where you could be given a headache if you don't know how to handle them.
