videos shortened via samsung gallery are failing transcoding and thumbnail generation
converting the cropped hdr10+ video to sdr using samsung's tool and then uploading it makes the video transcode succeed and thumbnail shows up as expected.

rerunning the job also didn't solve it

you were right, "keep all" still doesn't resolve duplicates after refreshing
