ROG Ally emudeck wont take sd card
Thanks for validating that this is a real issue! It didn’t recognize my SD card and made me install Emudeck to the internal storage, so ES-DE couldn’t find the roms. Here’s another simple workaround I found: I kept all my roms and bios where I wanted them—on the SD card—and made two symlinks in the internal storage folder where Emulation Station wanted to look for them. One link to the roms folder and one to the bios folder. A lot easier than editing the cfg file (which is hidden anyway with this setup and not convenient to access), and it worked perfectly.
