Asking for advice on building images locally
Hello everyone,
I am wanting to build my image locally instead of on the cloud like github. What would be the best way to go about this? I do not have a separate computer for me to use, only the one that is running discord right now

home-manager is not adding anything to PATH and gnome extensions are not being added
I am using home-manager and I have noticed that when I install anything in my
.nix files it is being added to the nix profile but it is not being added to PATH, while I have not had this problem with any other distro. It seems it is not changing any other variables to do with PATH-like references such as XDG_DATA_DIRS or similar2 replies
