not to mention the fact that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is just blackscreening in desktop mode while running great in gamescope

it's very low latency because simple compositing for example, and it has a nice set of settings

having disable while typing enabled in gamescope doesn't make any sense to me tho, as it's not primarily for typing

also desktop mode (KDE) is pretty limited anyway. i can only increase my mouse sensitivity to 2x of what it defaults to, i actually wanted it faster..

Lost all my Steam config data overnight. Can it be saved?

actually nvm.. i found the cause of the problem. i had previously moved data away and symlinked it back, which had worked great for months, but for some reason that suddenly broke. anyway, i updated to a 4TB NVMe m.2 SSD now and just copied the old data onto that, getting rid of the symlinks and just merging everything together again. it works great and my old non-steam games with their artwork etc are back 🙂

can i at least reassociate my IDs in /home/bazzite/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata with re-added non-steam games?

yeah, i double checked today and it was indeed mounted (including all of my other partitions), both in gamescope and desktop mode maybe i enabled some feature for that to happen at some point, but not that i can remember
