I could avoid this if I just didn't set my System track to -13db -- I could find an alternative way to lower the volume of my game audio. But I think this method is fine for now...unless anyone has a better idea

Basically it sounds like whenever I have any source whose audio needs to be monitored, I need to set it to "Monitor Only" otherwise it's going to record double audio. And since my audio is monitored through System audio, and since that track is set to -13db in OBS, I need to be aware that the audio is going to come in quieter and adjust accordingly

Okay I think I just need to set it to Monitor Only and be okay with the fact that it's going to record whatever audio is sent to the Wave Link System track. Since that track's audio is lower for my game, I'll just have to raise the volume of the Tangia track to like 120% to bump it back up to a suitable level

I THINK what’s happening is when it’s set to Monitor Only it’s actually recording the wave link system that’s adjusted to -13db. And when it’s set to Monitor and Output it’s recording BOTH so it’s doubled up and extra loud. But I don’t know how to avoid it recording both tracks
So I think I need a way to route the Tangia browser source to its own audio track and not also have it getting picked up in the Wave Link System audio

So yes, the zoom is happening on my nested source. And my scale filtering is on my nested source. And I think it looks really good. Huge improvement from my 1080p canvas
