Weird blue Vines/Spikes covering in-game screen and causing massive lag.
For a couple of days i've managed to deal with this issue just fine by switching to retro lighting which made it dissapear for some reason, but recently it also happened with retro lighting, i have no idea why htis is happening does anyone have any ideas?
I did see another post about this but it wasnt answered there....

Im having trouble downloading from the mod browser itself.
ive been trying to download mods, but some mods just wont download because the download speed kept decreasing
Playthrough broken: MStorage is broken, Pylons do not work, Items are not possible to pick up
hey, so i recently started a playthrough with my friends and got to pre plantera. however, when i start up the server today, most of the stuff we use are broken, and the issues listed in the title are present there. i've tried file verification, and other issues, but have had no luck. here is a recording of the issue + logs
Crash during Autosaves
Whenever the game gets autosaved based on the logs, this error occurs
[23:07:57.402] [.NET TP Worker/ERROR] [tML]: Unhandled Exception

time shifting back and forth
for some reason whenever i go to sleep or use a sundial, the server shifts the time back to another point of before (example, going to sleep for eye oc cuthulu then it goes back to day once it becomes night)
Game is stuttering heavily when im entering Fullscreen
First of all, i have great hardware. Ryzen 7 7800x3d and AMD 7900 xtx graphics card.
When i start the game, i have very high FPS but after about 3-5 seconds in the Main Menu the game starts to stutter and drops down to around 100 FPS, eventhough still high, there is still very visible mouse stuttering which makes this unplayable.
I already tried using different game launchers und turning on and off freesync, which both lead to nothing. ...
Saving player file…
I’ve been kicked out of my friends world like every other second, I don’t know what the problem is??? It’s saying lost connection then backing up player file. The game doesn’t think I’m cheating so I don’t know the reason behind the kicks…
Insane lag even with not-that-bad specs
Hey, I'm having trouble with running the game smoothly at 40 fps even when fighting DoG calamity mod, I installed a couple of optimization mods but that doesn't work, I increased the priority and even then it still doesn't do anything, please help I can't even play.
My specs are: Intel i5 10300H, 16gb ram DDR4, running on an ssd and I have a gtx 1650 (laptop)...
how do i make a dedicated server from a modpack??
i used 'export pack instance' from the modpacks UI, and then added the arguments in
cli-argsConfig.txt to a run script, but when the server actually runs, it only loads like, 36/55 mods in the pack?? and theres 51/55 mods as .tmod files within the SaveData/Mods/ folderfargo's DLC destroyer fight crashes in multiplayer
I have been on a multiplayer Fargo's, Calamity, and Stars Above world for a while now with my friends and I, and the game crashes on all of the non-host's computers about a quarter through the fight, and even during the fight, destroyer's parts get destroyed prematurely, each player only sees the other players in one spot, not moving, and sometimes using their weapon.
game is impossibly laggy during almost every boss fight
tmodloader shouldn't be hard to run even with using mods, i can see how it could get hard to run with all of the projectiles but I've never had a problem up until this point, and I've always played with calamity and the addons, i think my computer is decent enough to be able to run it and again I've never had a problem with terraria up until very recently, and i don't have any other problems on any other games. i honestly have no idea what's going on and I've tried many things like different mods or pc changes to fix how laggy i am on these boss fights. i just really want a long/permanent fix for this

Help with multiplayer - The classic "Playing: Terraria"
I have read multiple posts about how I'd fix this kind of issue, as I am the one hosting and the only one in my friend group who has the patience to actually debug stuff at all
I am currently on Linux - with no option of switching to Windows at the moment (currently on Debian 12 to be specific), and have had to fix quite a few bugs, yet this one stumped me
Usually, while on Windows, I would just close the Terraria instance on steam by right-clicking the game and pressing stop. I tried this, and it doesn't work, it instead only shows "Stopping" indefinitely.
I then resorted to looking through some forum posts here, where people were told to launch by opening the start-tModLoader.sh file, which seemed to work, except that now the Steam overlay wouldn't work, and nobody could join me via the Steam Multiplayer option "Host & Play"...
My game won't open no matter what I do
When I try to open TModLoader, it gives me this terminal and then does nothing. I already try everything... like deliting all ".dotnet" files, rebooting my pc for reading the ".bat" and ".cmd" files, relocate the Terraria and Tmod in the :C folder, disinstalled both of the games and re-installing them multiple times, verifing my files on my pc and I even followed the guide on this server... but nothing works. Any idea? I need help :(
