Anki dead

A few months ago I downloaded anki through discover. It worked always perfectly fine. Since a few days (maybe 5?) its kinda dead. It shows this weird noise on the bottom and the middle is usually a screenshot from the screen behind it. The navigation on the top side of the program works a bit (I can klick on stuff and new windows pop up.)...

having issues customizing mangohud

i was trying to install goverlay but found out that it's not supported via flatpak, so i installed flatpak mangohud, but when i tried to edit the config file it said it was read-only. Is there a workaround to edit mangohud?

[SOLVED]Orca slicer not working, gray screen on 3D view

If you don’t know what orca slicer is, it’s a 3D printing slicing app. it installs on flatpak. the app installs well, but the 3D view where I’m supposed to see the models is a gray screen. I’ll attach an image of what I see.

Gamemode resolution options

On my 4K TV I am unable to set 2560x1440. If I connect a 1440 display, it works. Is there a way to force the TV to 1440 even though I dont have the option in the list?

Is this normal?

I've recently got into bazzite since a week ago and I've been enjoying the os. Recently about 3 days ago whenever I start charging my ROG it'll say "full" and doesn't charge until I completely shut down the device or restart it. Is there a way to fix this problem or is it the usb-c port malfunctioning?...

getting large performance losses on bazzite compared to windows

I've finally gotten around to getting a proper ext4 drive so i can start testing games, and (even in lower settings than windows) i'm getting 30-50 less FPS in bazzite in Red Dead Redemption 2 compared to my game on windows (60-70 fps with all settings low except texture quality at ultra in bazzite, 90-110 at a mix of high and ultra in windows) The only real difference between the two is my linux version is currently on a NVMe SSD that's in an enclosure thats plugged in over USB 3.0, but i dont feel like it should be affecting it in FPS, let alone THIS MUCH I'm running KDE bazzite-nvidia-open, i have a 3060 ti, i5-12400f, 32GB of DDR4...

Solution:

Update, it looks like it's running fine now after updating to bazzite 42, i'm now getting a stable 120~ fps under bazzite which is faster as Kyle said

Solution:

@Null hey, may have a solution for you as it worked for me, saved me the hassle of reinstalling Bazzite Open terminal and run __GL_CONSTANT_FRAME_RATE_HINT=3 steam -reset Let it reinstall and update Steam, once finished sign in/2FA into Steam. Then exit, launch Steam by clicking the desktop shortcut this time, it’ll ask you to re-log in/2FA. after you’ve logged in a second time, it should work from the shortcut again without asking you to sign in an additional time....

Thin game window

had a problem when i try to go fullscreen with expedition 33 but this is also a problem with lords of the fallen, although it happens horizontally instead of vertically. I don't know if this is a display driver issue or a problem with ue5.

Static Line randomly across screen

Randomly while playing games I have a static line that goes across my monitor how do I troubleshoot?

Does x11 work with plasma-workspace-x11 on f42?

I’m immediately dumped back to the login window and the only way I can get a graphical session going as to select Wayland again. System update causing issue?

Hey there. I saw there was an update to install from Bazzite. Everytime I restart now, I get to this menu and if I don't have a keyboard to select "Bazzite 42 ostree:1", the first option goes through and gives me a black screen with an underscore. Please assist. Thank you....
