Xbox Ally Right Trigger no analog output

Helldivers 2 doesn't launch

I have just installed a fresh copy of bazzite for nvidia, and after changing my secondary drive from NTFS to ext4, steam games would download unto it, but they wouldn't launch. When I click play but it would start launching it, then stop.

Media laptop keys not working but works on other distros.

My media keys aren't working (play, pause, forwards, backwards, mute, vol +, vol -, f1-f5 w/fn) and showkey isn't seeing anything and shortcuts neither in Bazzite KDE NVIDIA. Half the function keys work. Laptop is an ASUS ROG GU501GM. I'm aware Bazzite 43 ceased development in ASUS Laptops. Its just that I have the one unique model that isn't supported by G-Helper nor Armory Crate and somehow Ubuntu and other distros detect the media keys of this device just fine. (They have other different problems though, heh) There is like only one function key (fan mode) that I have sort of fixed from finding a script and making it an exec by putting it into shortcuts. (Did check if it had anything weird but its pretty clean, have to sudo though.) Hilariously enough, I tried using shortcuts to auto detect the media keys but they aren't being detected at all, so I might be hitting some weird proprietary issue that other distros are able to detect?...

Cannot mod some games, .local hidden in modding file browser

Hello! I have been trying to mod some games (r2modmanager and lethal company), and it wants me to find the lethal company and steam folders. But the file browser it forces me to use does not access the .local folder, so I cannot reach any of my steam folders to mod the game. I also cannot seem to find any way to put the path of the folder directly into it. Is there a way to make the folder visible in the file browser, or somehow have steam in a different location thats accessible? anything that could make this possible? Thank you!...

Screen flashes between black and the game every few seconds

Whenever I'm in a game the screen will flash to black, stay black for a few moments, then to back to the game and repeat. Not sure why it's doing this. Only started after the update. All my games are unplayable atm because of this. It happens in every game I have whether they're on Steam or Lutris. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm running an RX 9060 XT, Intel Core I7 4GHz, LACT GPU manager.

Desktop plasmashell dumpig core while gaming. New Radeon 9070xt .

Hey folks, it's me again (my previous post: https://discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1432852153063706624). The core dump happend again. This time I'm on pure Bazzite no layers, with Radeon 9070xt. Attached journal logs for dumps. Both plasmashell then Xwayland, then other app dumped cores as well, but i guess it's not that important. The crash results in crashing and closing couple of apps, but recovered into shell (no logout this time). The crashes are really random, had no issue for the whole day yesterday and today it crashed like 20 minutes into the game. I really hope it's not the card itself - any tips on checking whether it's not a hardware issue?...

yep, just finished 4 hours gaming session, no crash anymore, I've limited the power limit to 300W and downclocked the GPU clock by 425, LACT looks like this:

was connecting to smb shares fixed in the latest update?

I read somewhere (Reddit) that the latest stable update fixed it (2025-10-25) but then I don’t see the fix in the release notes and it doesn’t seem to be fixed when I try it. Can anyone verify if it’s actually supposed to be fixed? If not then I can stop trying to troubleshoot it for now 😄

initramfs unpacking failed

wanted to finally try to switch to linux for my gaming desktop and thought i might try the hot new stuff. Unfortunately that ended before it began: at the installation process lmao. I recon it might have something to to with how i prep the USB stick? My problem:

Blank screen at login, tty2, login fails with no shell

Hi all! Thanks for working on bazzite. I have unfortunately hit my first issue in almost a year of use. Which I think is good! This morning my computer boots to a black screen with the cursor that does nothing....

Solution:

I use the escape key when turning on my laptop to get grub to come up. Grub also comes up if it’s quickly restarted multiple times. I ain’t no pro tho, that’s just what I’ve noticed / what works for me.

Can't Play Games

For some reason the update broke many games for me Particularly ones that were made with Unity, they open with a black screen, despite hearing sounds as if I can select options The cursor is shown and music is audible, but display is black It happened due to the upgrade to 43, anyone knows why?...

Windows Key moving screens option disappeared

I don't know what its called, but the equivalent to hitting the windows key left right up down to move windows around stopped showing up on my desktop yesterday. Tried searching around for the setting but couldn't find it. Has this happened to anyone else before or is there a certain process that maybe stopped starting automatically?

I am trying to download Bazzite as a dual boot for my GPD WIN mini (HX 370). Originally I tried with bealana, but it wouldn't show the drive. I then tried with Rufus and it shows the drive, but it doesn't have enough space to use that drive....

Help updating to Bazzite Fall Update (ROG Ally X)

Hi friends, I'm trying to update to latest Bazzite with Fedora 43. Using bazzite-deck:stable on an Ally X. I know that the ASUS specific images are being scrapped and unified. Attempting to use brh to move to the latest branch but continually getting branches are equal messaging so no luck. I followed the rebasing guide documentation but I think I'm missing something to move to 43. Thank you in advance!!...
