External Monitor Resolution Incorrect in Games

Hello, Using the most up-to-date version of stable KDE via Bazzite, my games are not allowing the native 1920x1080 resolution of my external display to be used (built-in resolution is 2560x1600), and are forcing awkward, unusual resolutions. The primary game I'm having the issue with is Warframe. I have tried forcing 1080 via the Steam advanced display settings, game-specific Steam settings, and also toggled off/on "Automatically Set Resolution" in the Display settings. For other information, I usually disable "Automatically Set Resolution" and select 1920x1080@120, because when automatic is selected, it defaults my external monitor to 90hz instad of the max of 120hz. Not sure if there's a solution to that, also?...

Any way to change mouse cursor size?

I'm playing an ARPG and as is usually the problem with the genre the mouse cursor tends to just disappear into the ether with all the effects going off on the screen. I used to run YoloMouse on Windows, but it doesn't seem to work on Linux (at least not for me, doesn't detect any games). Google AI result claims I can change it in Settings -> Accessibility -> Mouse Pointer (this tab doesn't exist for me), or to go into Mouse & Touchpad settings to change the size (no size options there). Any help would be appreciated....

Error when booting

Im getting this screen when booting up only started to happen yesterday and today however when I restart my PC everything works as normal? Anyone got any ideas or insight on what I can do to fix it?

Wired connection failed (but Wi-Fi works)

So I have this strange issue. I can see the wired connection in the menu and system settings. But after a while, it just fails and I have to use Wi-Fi unless I reboot and the cycle repeats. Unable to install bazzite on my desktop

Sorry not to be clear 🙂 When I boot from an usb drive wich contain bazzite-open-nvidia, after few lines a lot of cyan lines with related to nouveau driver appears and after sometimes I go to rescue mode. It's strange but I've tested bazzite-nvidia-open live and everything is fine. PS : Secure boot is not active. My GPU : RTX 2070 SUPER....

Lock Keys Status Not Showing Numlock Status

The "Lock Keys Status" options that show the status of Capslock and Numlock in the System Tray only shows Capslock status, not Numlock status. I have gone into the settings and ensured that "display numlock status" is enabled. I fear this may have something to do with my main keyboard and number pad being two different peripherals. My main keyboard does not have a number pad, so I think Bazzite may only be looking for lock keys from it and not my separate number pad.

CS2 performance terrible, running way better with E-cores turned off in bios. Any non bios fix?

Hi, cs2 is essentially unplayable on my 13600k for some reason, unless I turn off my e-cores in the bios to force running on performance cores. I read from someone online that it was possible to do from desktop instead with gamemode, but I'm now reading that was replaced with system76 scheduler. Not sure what I'm talking about, but I just want to get the game running on performance cores without bios tinkering. Any help appreciated!

Out of Range after installation.

I am a Linux beginner, dualboot installed Bazzite KDE on a available disk, after installation finished I restarted and after it booted in again and screen is black and shows text Out of Range. Going to TTY doesn’t work, screen stays black with the same text. I have Nvidia rtx 4060. LG27GS60F-B monitor ...

Alright, i fixed the problem by switching monitor ‘Input Compatibility Version’ from 2.0 to 1.4

GPD Win Mini R4 hotkey for HHD not working after SSD Swap

I initially prepared this SSD with bazzite on my GPD Win Max 2, planned to swap it over to my GPD Win Mini once it arrives and that process went smoothly, everything works except the hotkey for HHD in gaming mode. Previously on the GPD Win Max 2 I could use the right back paddle (R4), short press triggered QAM and holding it triggered HHD overlay But now on the GPD Win Mini R4 does nothing, the HHD wiki tells it could remap keys under the "WinControls" tab but there is no such tab...

How to configure display pre-login

How do I tell the OS that 1 of my 2 monitors is portrait orientation for the pre-login environment? Display Config works great for stuff once I'm logged in, but it's sort of annoying to have startup info sideways and to have the login field randomly sideways.

Solution:

Colors & Themes -> Login Screen (SDDM) -> top right corner -> Apply Plasma Settings

Steam games not open

Hi! im new on bazzite and im with a problem that i just cant open any game from steam(like the only games that really work is Portal and Portal 2) all of these games i already played them on windows, but i cant run them on linux, show that they are running and at the same moment its stops, it dosnt open any window, its just close before opening (sorry for the bad english)
