Problem with steam-port of Crystal of Atlan
It's a anime-visual Mass Multiplayer adventure game, been running for a few years before being picked up by Steam. I played on my decade-old Windows rig just fine, but I couldn't get it working on my new Linux rig on its own. Then Steam picked it up and I thought it'd run via steam's linux compatibility.
It loads, lets me log in and choose a server, then when I try to join said server, the game crashes to desktop.
Any word on how this gets fixed?...
Bazzite fails to boot after install
Hey everyone! I'm brand new to Linux and I'm trying to install Bazzite on my desktop, but I'm not able to get it to boot into the OS after a supposed successful install. It just hangs on the loading screen after selecting "Bazzite (ostree:0) from the Grub menu
Heres all the relevant information I can think to give:
- My desktop had Windows on it but I opted for a clean install and selected "delete all" on my OS drive and proceeded with the install....
Solution:
Ok I managed to figure this out. All it ended up being was I needed to swap out my ultrawide monitor for a standard 16:9 monitor and it just worked. Not sure what the deal was but meh i'm in! 馃檪 Thanks all!
SSH_AUTH_SOCK not set since 20251029
Not sure if this is related to 43.20251029 as rolling back to 43.20251028 didn't fix the issue. But somewhere after 2025-10-26 19:00 UTC, my kde startup script running
ssh-add starts failing with "Could not open a connection to your authentication agent.".
SSH_AUTH_SOCK is not set anymore when opening a plasma session. If I source /etc/xdg/plasma-workspace/env/ssh-agent.sh manually, then it works.
I create a test script in the env folder with echo "test" > /tmp/test.tmp , and restart the session, the file is not created.
Also, when I grep journalctl on ssh, I noted a difference in the logged message. When it works, I see the output of ssh-agent starting....Install fails when creating EFI on /de/sdb1

AMDGPU Displays freeze
Sometimes my displays freeze. They only turn back on when the GPU resets.
I already disabled display power off in energy saving settings and I have set the following kernel paramers:
split_lock_mitigate=0 split_lock_detect=off amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10

While doing normal text editor / web browser / Discord / Steam work, the hard drive light suddenly turned on and wouldn't ever turn off. The keyboard and mouse immediately became unresponsive, and not even ctrl-alt-f3 would work.
Glancing at logs after a hard reset, it appears unsurprisingly to be due to running out of memory.
Is there a way to adjust the oom killer to have a larger margin? If it kicked in at all here, it appears to have been way too late to avoid a hard reset....
Last update made my wifi card thinks it's on wired instead of wireless
Newb on Linux here, last update turned my wifi card into thinking it got it's wifi through wire although I don't use any wired connections

Frequent freezes and crashes on gaming laptop
I'm looking for help because I'm at a loss. Got a new Lenovo Legion laptop, installed Bazzite on it and it's been either freezing or crashing, on average, about every hour of session or so. Me and my techie friend are fighting an uphill battle to try and fix it. While installing I get an error "Got disconnect on API bus."
I've been trying to dualboot bazzite but after finishing the installation and rebooting I am instantly met by "Got disconnect on API bus", I've tried several things from the official website yet I couldn't solve it. I appreciate anyone that can help me
NVIDIA DRIVERS FOR T600
I need help, i am new to linux i have problems with my t600 nvidia gpu if i seletect rtx in install option does that auto install drivers so i van just get to playing??
Bazaar not opening
Expected Behavior:
After launching Bazaar from the application manager, it should open.
Actual Behavior:
I get the loading indicator from KDE plasma with the bouncing icon, but it never opens.

Edit your Bazaar menu entry and remove the highlighted portion (
window --auto-service) then save and it should launchWaydroid needs a ujust script adjustment as its making gear lever fail to launch
When Waydroid is installed first it doesnt currently mkdir in ~/local/share/ called applications. Instead It makes a desktop entry file called "applications" This will cause apps like gear lever to fail to start as its expecting a folder in that spot.
Web pages not loading

I am fresh Bazzite user, installing it as my only OS on this computer, two weeks ago. Installation went smooth, Steam and running games all working properly.
However, from very start there have been issues with Firefox loading some web pages, eg. Bazzite issues index on Github, Youtube (page either not loading completely, or loading only to get message: You're offline. Check your connection.) Chromium loaded pages with following message: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
- tried switching from Mozilla to Chromium - didn't help...

AptX codec to connect my headset via bluetooth has disappeared
Heya, I've recently installed Bazzite and Linux for the first time and I'm strugging with an issue with my audio. I usually use the AptX codec and I haven't had issues with this so far, however for some reason this has now disappeared. I've tried restarting my PC a couple of times, unplugging my headset and the bluetooth dongle, but nothing seems to bring AptX back. It disappeared after I turned off my headset while it was connected to the PC, and then when I turned it back on it had disappeared. The brand of headphone is Sennheiser Momentum 3 Headphones (not the earbuds).
Has anyone come across this issue before? I have a system log if that would be helpful. Thank you!...
Booted into Bazzite today after ~3 months and there is...nothing?
Just a black screen, no bar, no desktop rightclick, no edit mode. The only thing that works is win + E and Ctrl + Alt + Del. Had to "Open Folder with..." in Dolphin search trough all apps and open settings, steam, discord through that. My Files and Apps appear to be there but desktop is just black and can' t do anything. Help please

Try the following:
* Before you log in press CTRL+ALT+F2, this will give you a TTY terminal
* Log in with your username and typically while you type your password nothing will be displayed
* Now we are going to move the KDE Plasma settings file, which will reset your settings. The command is
mv ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc-old (you can use tab to help autocomplete the command while you are typing it)...Update removed window resizing features? (GNOME)
Windows no longer take up the left/right side of the screen when I click them against the respective edge. Nor do options pop up for window placement when I tap their top bar against the taskbar. Is this a bug?
WiFi Stuck at "Configuring Interface" - Fresh Bazzite Install
