Issues with installing mullvad vpn and root partition size

I guess the long and short of it i that if you follow the instructions they give you on Mullvads site for fedora it fails to go through becaue they use dnf and bazzite doesn't read that so you have to install it manually more or less. That said ive found a guide that lets you do it but now im running into the issue where the root partition is only big enough for the initial install and i cant put in a 186 B repo to get mullvads vpn running(yes i know i can use ovpn but id want to use the launcher). I was in dolphin --sudo while trying to copy and work in root so that shouldn't be the issue. I guess is there an easy enough way to just make the root partition a big bigger to give me the room to work in it a bit or how else could i do that short of a reinstall and tweaking the partitions then. Ive used linux before im just abit rusty at it cause its been a while. Thanks in advance....

Discord Game Status

So for some reason, Discord does not show what game I am playing for Steam and anything I run on Heroic (Cyberpunk, Borderlands 3, etc). Activity is enabled. When I go to registered games, there are no games that show. Any idea on how I should troubleshoot? Steam and Discord accounts are linked as well....

Hi, I'm having a pretty annoying problem! When I'm on Discord in voice, the other members of the voice hear what I hear in my headset, it's YouTube videos, games, etc. ... something that didn't happen when I was on Windows with exactly the same hardware. If someone can help me, that would be great! Thanks....

sddm crashing on boot?

I just upgraded Bazzite today and now I can't get into a graphical session anymore. SDDM either hangs or crashes? I can still boot and log in through text mode, so the system itself isn't completely dead.

Yet another Samba problem

Hello. I'm trying to guest share a couple of folders but I've run into a problem I can't diagnose. I've already run the recommended grep -E and tee and usermod commands. I've enabled the smb and nmb services and made sure they're running. (This caused the server to appear on the device I'm trying to connect with, so it is announcing.) And I've run the recommended setsebool command. The problem is when I try to connect to the server, it just times out. No error message. Nothing in the server's logs....

Replacing Win10 at home for 3 users with Bazzite

Hello 🌊 I just got a Bazzite install up and running (after having to nuke a previous one for misconfiguring the SSD, which was still trying to boot into Windows; oops) and I thought I would have multiple Linux users (like I did Windows users prior) but even after adding them, I don't get a login screen. Then I found SDDM and where to uncheck the automatic login for my user, but when I hit apply and enter my admin password, it just rechecks itself. I read somewhere that this may be due to the OS being immutable? But, if that's the case, do I need to do a fresh install and setup all the users at that stage? Or is there an easy option I'm missing because I've only been staring at Linux through the shop window for a few decades and have only just walked through the door? Thank you in advance for any help!...

Not all hz available in game mode

On desktop mode, I can select 1440p with 119 hz, but on game mode I can only select 1440p 60hz. Is there a way to change this?...

Setting up VFIO on Bazzite

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop with a Ryzen 4600h (with integrated graphics), GTX 1660 Ti and 16gb of ram. I want to setup a Windows vm for some Windows only things that aren't related to gaming, such as a Windows C++ development environment. I've enabled virtualization and enabled VFIO drivers, but I still got a few questions. 1. Can I rollback stuff in case something breaks? 2. Is it a good idea to use integrated graphics for the vm? 3. Is there any way to make it so the system unbinds gpus from vfio when I don't want to use them? Like if I bind integrated or dedicated graphics to vfio when I want to use the vm, then I stop using the vm, can I unbind them for host use?...

eXoDOS on Bazzite

Hello, I have been trying to get eXoDOS setup on bazzite with the linux patch but i can't get it to work. What i found out is that it uses a lot of .command files that don't seem to work because they look for the available terminal and because of the immutable core it can't locate it because it is containalised running application (or so i read about this i can most likely be wrong). I bypassed that by going to the .bsh files directly to get it set up and installed and all works fine and boots the front end, but after that nothing work because i think every item in the frontend is pointed at a similar .command file. Anyone tried this one and ever got it working? Is there any way around this? Thank you so much in advance...

Mouse Capture Difficulties

I am attempting to play Battlefield 2042 on GeForce NOW, launched through Lutris, but it's having severe issue with actually keeping my cursor locked to the program. It keeps sliding over onto my second monitor and then getting locked to weird boundaries on my primary monitor. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a major Linux noob. Feel free to ask further questions and I will try to answer them as best I can.

Audio stops working when starting new stream

When im using discord using my Bluetooth headphones and i start a new audio stream like a youtube video all audio stops working and my microphone too, my friend cant hear me and i cant hear any audio till i change the audio codec or recconnect my headphones

Weird system freezes.

It's the third time my system randomly froze and did not recover. The first time it has happened I was playing The Finals, the system froze mid match, out of nowhere. The second time it happened I was only launching that game, the system started lagging like crazy during shader precomp, and froze after like 10 seconds. And the third time happened ~15 minutes ago, when I was doing wplace stuff, nothing intensive. How can I diagnose this issue?...
