wifi stops working after first restart (realtek rtl8821ce)
i have just installed bazzite and it’s been really amazing so far. I took a break and my computer automatically suspended, after wake up i see no wifi networks being scanned (strange…?)
after that i tried restarting but i now see no wireless device (disappears from ‘ip a s’)
i did absolutely nothing before this...
Solution:
because the issue isnt the distro, its the card and/or realtek
GPD Win Max no wifi
My GPD Win Max is saying the wifi adapter is installed (I guess) but not seeing any WiFi networks. This is a fresh install and I used the Ethernet port to get it set up.
virtual machine manager usb insufficient permissions
hello i am having problems trying to open a usb device using virtual machine manager, i tried to redirect the usb device but it showed this.
i am running win 11 on the VM.
i am new to Linux and am quite lost, any help would be appreciated....
Bazaar infinitely loading, how to change mirrors?
So I updated Bazzite to start using Bazaar and it just keeps infinitely loading. I'm on KDE AMD with gamescope. I believe this may be caused because I'm in China and the download server for Bazaar might be blocked by the great firewall of china. Is there a way to change my mirror to switch download repositories? Discover worked fine but Bazaar is giving me a headache.
Alternative would be installing AstrillVPN to bypass the firewall but the latest update to Bazzite seems to have broken it. It gives me an error that says "ASProxy component has insufficient privilege. Please reinstall the program"....
Booting failed?
This is the only error, and i dont know what i should do
Solution:
@Tanfa set the label of your FAT32 partition to "BAZZITE". Then on boot menu, hit "e" instead of booting and change bazzite-x86_64-stable whatever to "BAZZITE"
