Solution:
@Tanfa set the label of your FAT32 partition to "BAZZITE". Then on boot menu, hit "e" instead of booting and change bazzite-x86_64-stable whatever to "BAZZITE"
Bazzite launch in emergency mode after switching ram
Hi all, I havent got any luck searching for this problem. The closest I could find was this post but it hasnt been much help.
Basically: my drive is an encrypted btrfs, and after get some new ram sticks Bazzite has not been booting (or rather after asking for the encryption key, went into emergency mode after 5 min or loading). My other drive has windows and boots to desktop.
Ive tried the solution from the video in the thread i linked, but on top of not booting into bash, im not able to find the etc/fstab file while in emergency mode command line....
Can't awaken PC from suspend
I tried to suspend the computer, but when I was back home, the PC wouldn't answer to keyboard (wired) or mouse (2.4GHz usb dongle) using, neither the power button did nothing, all I had to do is hold power until shutdown and power it back on.
Trying to find where to download bazzite 41 (nvidia+kde) instead of 42
As per title, i'm not sure where i can find an ISO of the 41 version (with nvidia drivers and kde). I'm having issues with 42 - it freezes constantly, sometimes during boot, other times it lets me log in and it could take anywhere from 1 minute to 30 minutes but it always does it. I noticed some people get freezes when playing games, i haven't even reached that point.
Ryujinx no longer detects XInput devices on current install, but does on a fresh install
The Ryujinx emulator used to work with my XInput controllers, but as of now they are no longer detected—they do not appear in the controller setup menu at all. All other programs recognize the controller.
However, the controllers do appear and work in Ryujinx on a fresh, up-to-date version of Bazzite I tested on another machine. What might have changed that would make this not work on my machine?
Ideally I'd like to fix this issue without having to reset my PC.

Ubisoft Login Not Saved
I have Ubisoft connect installed via Lutris.
Logged in, and installed AC2 and AC Odyssey, no issues.
Whenever i restart my system, login info is lost.
I have tried starting the system to Desktop mode and Big Picture mode with similar results....
Realtek RTL8125 2.5GbE adapter
has anybody tested the Realtek RTL8125 2.5GbE adapter(usually on motherboards like Asus' B650 Wi-Fi) on bazzite and can tell me if hotspot(wifi 6, 5Ghz) works?
I tried on linux mint and even with kernel 6.14 it doesnt.
I just need this info before I decide to move over...
Jellyfin Quadlet Hardware Transcoding
Hello, pretty new to Bazzite and Linux in general. Trying to set up a Jellyfin media server, and I can't seem to get hardware transcoding to work. I'm using an Nvidia GPU (4080 Super) and keep getting an error along the lines of "CUDA_ERROR_NO_DEVICE: no CUDA-capable device detected".
Before this I was getting a no device at all error, but adding "AddDevice=nvidia.com/gpu=0" to my container file got me the error above instead.
Not sure if switching to Docker or the Flatpack version would make any difference?...
Solution:
I uninstalled the Quadlet version and installed the Flatpack version which seems to work right out of the box, so I think I'll stick to that for now. I appricate the help!
Update Issue
Bit of a linux newbie but trying to update using ujust update and coming up with an error. Asked around and haven't had any luck. Any help is appreciated
Internet dies, then plasma freezes for around 15 seconds.
Sometimes my internet will just stop working. When my system is in this state, enabling or disabling internet will freeze plasma for around 15 seconds. I will also be unable to power off or reboot my system without removing power from it or holding the power button down, as it will hang on the black loading screen.
This log starts at where the internet died and goes through where this video takes place to where i pressed the "restart" button and then the system hanged and i held the power button down.

Struggling to install
I have been trying to install bazzite on my old laptop and it seems to work fine up until I am required to reboot to finalize the installation. Instead of booting into bazzite I am instead set back to the beginning. Sorry if this has an obvious fix, im brand new to linux.
mouse pointer barrier?
Hi! im looking for help to disable the (as chatgpt calls it) pointer berrier? The thing that "slows down" my mouse when moving between screens/stops me entirely if i move the mouse too slowly to the edge.
i have tried to look at the documentation and it doesn't seem to mention it, or i could have missed it.
any help would be appreciated 🙂...

Hey guys, i'm currently transferring all my games from win11 to bazzite, and i've added some custom .ini files to Clair Obscur Expedition 33 to increase draw distance and stuff. But now i cant figure out where to put those ini files since i dont know what the folder equivalent is for bazzite.
On windows this is the path:

Home Folder Contents Lost After Latest Bazzite-DX Update
Hi, I've just updated to the latest bazzite-dx update and had my entire home folder + system settings wiped. I still have some flatpaks I've installed but some are missing. I've attempted rescuing with Gparted live but it did not restore files (though it did clear the log) in case that was what the issue was. Rolling back to last update didn't help either. Blurry text in Chromium /Electron apps after installing Chrome from Bazaar
My Chromium apps' (vscode, discord, steam, etc.) text became very blurry after installing Chrome from the Bazaar store.
Reading online it seems the Chromium/Electron apps need a special flag to enforce them to use Wayland (
--ozone-platform-hint=wayland). After modifying some of the shortcuts with this flag, the blurriness goes away.
But my question is, how do I set it as the default for all Chromium apps? Or how do I make it global, again? Something obviously changed when I installed Chrome. So how do I get back to the way it was pre-Chrome installation?...Delay after several time using kde plasma
