Mangohud suddenly decided that my terminal is a game too; cannot even close the overlay.

Honestly I am not sure how it happened. I didn't change anything, except a recent ujust update and reboot. It ignores the shortcut I use for disabling it, and even export MANGOHUD_CONFIG=no_display in my .bashrc is ignored.

Bluetooth no default controller

Cannot swith to gaming mode

Cant install anything

Basically this shows up everytime i try to install anything, happened with decky loader and EmuDeck. Its Bazzite, fresh install, Rog Ally Z1E, tried reinstalling OS twice and this problem persists, searched online and havent find a single documented case. Help!...

Moonlight from flatpak stalls at Starting Desktop but AppImage works

I've been trying to connect from one Bazzite PC to another Bazzite PC using Moonlight/Sunshine. I installed Moonlight through Bazzar. In Moonlight, I can see the other PC, pair correctly and do a network test. When I try and connect it just hangs at Starting Desktop and Moonlight is Not Responding. I downloaded the Moonlight AppImage package from GitHub and when I connect it all works correctly, I can connect to the Bazzite PC running Sunshine. With the AppImage I needed to establish another Pin code....

Hi! I’m very new to Bazzite but I love what it has to offer and feel like my Steam Deck (using Ally ROG). I was wondering if it’s possible to make a custom resolution for games. Some games are a little demanding but I’ve learned to stomach lower than 720p to play games. Perhaps add it to the list of resolutions found in the Properties. unforeseen windows boot loader issue after formatting secondary drive

background: I had 2 installs of windows on 2 separate drives (which were also separate from bazzite). the drive i just formatted was the 1st OS install after my PC basically imploded so i could recover the data from what was my original C drive and then reformat and reinstall windows on the drive i wanted it to be one (the 2nd and primarily used OS install). Im in the process of converting most of my storage to btrfs and I just reformatted one of my drives after clearing out everything but my 1st OS install. after doing so I went to restart into my 2nd (main) windows to check on something, but grub is giving my some kind of boot loader/efi failure/missing issue. I'm assuming that nuking the 1st install messing something up, but I have no clue how to actually fix this issue. assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance...

Case fans not showing in Coolercontrol

Been trying to figure out something on my end for awhile and not entirely sure how to go about it but my case fans aren't showing up in Coolercontrol and only thing is the GPU fan. I am relatively new to this so I wouldn't even be surprised if it were user error but some assistance would be nice since I just installed Bazzite today and everything so far has ran pretty smoothly without error.

Reboot to other OS from game mode?

Is it possible to create a script or something launched as a "non-steam game" that reboots to another OS? I have tried all kinds of stuff with chatgpt. All my scripts seem to work when run from ssh, but if I try to run an sh script from Game Mode, by clicking on the script as an added non-steam game it just does not work. My usecase is that I have finally given up on finding a usable gamepad controlled environment that both do modern gaming (steam) and retro gaming in one go. Batocera is the only thing that does retrogaming semi-properly and I need to be able to reboot into that from bazzite with clicking stuff with my gamepad. Please do not suggest that I use Emudeck or Retrodeck as they do not satisfy my needs....

Help with headset sound

Hello, i use a realtek ALC295 headset, and it plays no sound, it shows that it is connected, but it plays no sound on the headphones, only on the speakers when i enable them i've heard that there is a potential solution, there have been a lot of reports on this headset that i have seen some solutions but no reports for bazzite. If anyone could help me find a solution i would be extremely grateful...

help with waydroid.

i just installed Waydroid so i can play games like Minecraft bedrock but when i first opened it i quickly found out that though my ethernet cable was plugged in and my PC had an internet connection it seemed waydroid didnt have an internet connection as google and google play store would give me blank screens and the top right hand corner of my screen showed an ethernet symbol with a ! next to it

Gaming on laptop with eGPU different vendor then integrated graphics

I feel like this might be a weird combination. But I want to use bazzite on my intel based laptop. I want to then use my AMD eGPU when I game. Genrally this laptop would boot to desktop and just be used for general use. But when I go on trips, I would like to plug in the eGPU and switch to game mode (still booting to desktop), Is this even possible? If so which version would I be use as my base download
