Switching Profiles clears icon customization

After setting up my Discord icons (picture attached), switching to another Profile and then back to this Profile causes the icons to reset:

Custom Image Removed on Copy

So if I copy an action that has a custom icon and then set a custom icon on the copy and then delete the original, it resets the image on the copied one. Workaround: Just don't delete the copy 😁...

Solution:

this is the behaviour for me - Add Run Command action - Set custom icon on original (also tried without this) - Copy and paste original (original's custom icon preserved on copy) - Set different custom icon on copy ...

Default Profile Gone

Everything has been quite wonderful. Turned on my computer this morning and my default profile is gone. A different one I made is still here but I can't switch back to my original one. 🤔

Solution:

Did this ever happen again for you? I think there's a potential fix coming in v2.6.0

OpenDesk is working excellent, but...

after a while (one hour, two hours, the buttons are not working anymore. It seems StreamDeck has lost (?) connection to OpenDeck. Seems, as OpenDeck still show a working connection. Log file shows nothing suspicious. I solve the issue by unplugging the StreamDeck, stop OpenDeck, plug in again StreamDeck, start OpenDeck. But while streaming, I dont want to do that 😉 Find attached the log. No plugins installed, only the OpenDeck starter pack. OpenDeck 2.4.4, RPM-version (although FlatPack shows...

refresh tile

Hello, maybe it's a dumb question since i'm trying to set things up now first time. But i'm trying to display the currently playing song image using

curl $(playerctl -p spotify metadata mpris:artUrl) --output test.png && magick test.png -crop 3x3@ +repage +adjoin tile_%d.png

running in a cronjob every couple of seconds, i've set the image location on tiles with no command inside them The image is now displayed fine but it's not updating on the deck even tho the image on the disk is actually changing (even after unplugging and replugging the deck in, is there any way to "tell the streamdeck" to refresh the tiles or to clear the cache that opendeck displays to force update?...

Trying to get keybinds to work with Stream Deck + on Fedora

I'm trying to set some keybinds in OpenDeck. I can't seem to get them to work properly. I want to use the F13-F20 keys if possible. I think the issue I'm running into is that OpenDeck is not forwarding my InputSimulation config to the deck

Device not connecting

I just swapped to Mint OS 22.1 x86_64 from Windows, and I am having trouble having my Stream deck Neo connect to Stream controller & Open deck. I made sure to remove the Stream controller flat pack after it glitched out one day and the app would not open up. Is the Neo not supported, or is there something else that I need to do?

Discord integration isn't working

Trying to get the Discord integration working, i've got OpenDeck with the Discord plugin and the official Discord app installed, though it doesn't seem to detect Discord? anyone got any solutions? i'm running fedora linux, with Discord installed as flatpak, and OpenDeck installed as rpm

Well, I'll stick with the current archive version for now then and I'll figure out something to do about the steam toggle button. Thanks for all your help 👍

After installing, ubuntu 24.04 - dragged and dropped an image of a small button onto the panel and now thats the only thing I see (no buttons, no ui) How do you delete everything to start again? have removed deb package...

Multiple Top Bar Icons

As pictured. Started normal with just the regular icon, i went for a walk, came back and saw 2. This morning there were 2 of each type of icon, 4 total. Only one instance of the app is open.
I'm running OpenDeck v2.4.2 (93c40ad) on x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, on Pop OS...

Solution:

no i swapped OS's a few times over a few weeks after that. Been on EndeavorOS and had no problems from the get go.

Windows 11 Error 10048

Hi friends, I bought an Ajazz AKP03E controller and downloaded and installed OpenDeck.exe from Github for windows. Then I connected the AKP03, and it's not found. The log file says the following: [2025-04-11][15:05:52][opendeck::plugins][ERROR] Failed to bind plugin WebSocket server to socket: Normalerweise darf jede Socketadresse (Protokoll, Netzwerkadresse oder Anschluss) nur jeweils einmal verwendet werden. (os error 10048) Unfortunately, it's in German, but I don't think that will be a problem for you. From what I understand, there's a problem with an IP address or a port, but I don't know enough about it. Maybe someone knows the problem....

No Devices Detected

Hey everyone! I'm having an issue with OpenDeck not detecting my StreamDeck on Pop!_OS. It says: "No devices detected. Make sure your devices are connected properly and you have permission to access them." On GNU+Linux, it mentions ensuring the udev subsystem rules are installed correctly. I've already installed the rules, copied them to /etc/udev/rules.d/, and reloaded them with sudo udevadm control --reload-rules. I also rebooted and checked if the device is detected using lsusb, and it shows up correctly, but still no luck!...
