Fly.io express app (Chicago) slow queries to Neon (Ohio)
I'm trying to figure out what the latency I'm experiencing is caused by. I'm comparing Fly postgres with Neon. The increase in latency is insane, and so I doubt the regional differences is the issue here. Cold starts aren't the issue either, since I've done queries in quick succession.

Database Access and Compute Hours on Free Tier
Hi all! I've really been enjoying neon.tech and especially appreciate your free tier provisions. Quick question about DB access and compute hours:
I'm aware of the "always-available primary branch compute" allowance, and that you also offer unlimited free DBs. I've made two DBs and can access them using my normal development workflow. But is it only the DB associated with my primary branch that falls under the "always-available" provision? I.E. once I hit 5 compute hours, would I not be able to access or use my second DB until the month rolls over? Thanks for any clarification you can provide here!...

Free up pg space usage after reached limit
Due to the free tier's space limit reduced to 512M, my project got limited, its about 560M. I deleted some unused data in table TABLE_NAME. It should be about 300M data left. But when I run
VACUUM FULL table_name to free up disk usage, it still gave me the error ERROR: could not extend file because project size limit (512 MB) has been exceeded (SQLSTATE 53100).

How to stop Neon branch creation upon Vercel preview branch?
On March 12, 2024, I set up the Vercel integration and checked the box to create a Neon branch for each Vercel deployment. The feature works great, but I want to stop. Now, how do I configure that setting in order to stop the creating of a Neon branch upon each Vercel preview branch?

JDBC connection query
heyo just a question, I’m just deployed my spring web first app on heroku, it connects to my neon tech db using jdbc. It work fine until the compute is suspended, as the connection to my app stops so throws exceptions when a request comes in. How do I deal with this? the connection is made in a dslContext config bean
scaling capabilities of neon?
wanted to know what how scale can I get with neon.
is it ready to handle 170 millions users. did you guys do any tests on number of conncurrent queries and limits and other scaling issues.
I am scared cuz I saw in a video saying you guys off load cold data to s3 is it reliable. me as a customer knowing it's going on s3 and if that data need to be access it will first do s3 request to get into the disk then process seems slow to me at scale or am I wrong . I have no experience in database just my normal brain saying this. Please let me know about the scaling capibilites, specificly 170 milliosn monthly active users will neon be able to handle this kind of scale? I don't even have 1 user but I am qurious about the scaling capabilities of neon.

Vercel integration causes deployments to be prematurely marked as successful

So I noticed Vercel's GitHub integration and
deployment_status start marking builds as successful even when the build is still ongoing. This causes some of the pipelines to prematurely run on my side. This issue seems to appear after Neon integration is added. And it is currently not reproducible when I try to rebuild a project that doesn't have Neon integration installed.
I suspect it is due to the checking of branching, which is marked as passed before the build is completed....Db user password length secure?
When creating a new db user to access (eg. the production database) Neon provides me a pregenerated password. However it is rather short. Since the db is exposed on the internet how can I increase the password lenght / security. Or is it secure enough? Just want to eliminate brute force possibility.

Billing added from shared user
I have created an account and started the setup of the Neon. However, we wanted to upgrade to the Launch plan, so I included the responsible to manage billing using the "Sharing" access on the project setting.
He said everything has been done properly, but I can't see that any effect has happened, and I still blocked to use the paid features.
Who can assist me with that? Kind of messed up as I "am not" a paying user, I can't contact support to become a paid user....
