Hello,
I'm currently in a situation with our current hosting provider where unexpectedly they'll change all our ports, take our panel down, take all our servers down without any notice to myself as the owner and administrator or in time to inform the community of an outage.
This has been ongoing for about 3 weeks and I'm at my tipping point.
I'm looking for a good host in Australia whether it's a server hosting company or I just use a vps and install and configure something like pterodactyl myself, and if I go this way what specs should I be looking for in a VPS. ...
Prominence 2 modpack lag after update
I updated my prominence 2 server to the latest update, and now it gets very laggy with more than 1 player on. It wasnt like this before the update.

Trying to Host a Server for me and my Brother
I'm running a 1.21.4 Fabric server with Distant Horizons and C2ME installed on a Raspberry Pi 4 (4gb ram with 3gb dedicated to the server). It's... not great. Lagging a decent bit, looking for something cheap around $5/month, maybe up to $10/month if it's going to keep it lag-free.
What are the best options for hosting a small server like this nowadays? Been out of the server-making game for quite a while....

I’m currently running a fabric server for me and my friends, I switched to fabric for farms/mechanics/end portal dupe and I really miss all the plugins on paper, is there any way to re-enable all vanilla mechanics so I can use paper but still run a technical server. I miss my cosmetics/custom chat tags /custom tablist and stuff

Anyways... you have three options here really; either you revert the changes made by paper/spigot/bukkit yourself, find in game workarounds like the previously mentioned Ianxo4 has for his raid farm or you stay on fabric
Auto restart server after crash
Hi, I selfhost a private 1.21.1 Fabric server on Windows 10.
The average uptime on my server isn't great, and I'm going to be away from my computers for a week so I won't be able to log in to fix it when it goes down this time. So is there a way to automatically restart the server after it goes down? I've tried a couple methods with .bat files but the methods I tried didn't work, or still required me to manually press a key to continue after a crash.
Bonus: Is there also a way to automatically stop and restart the server every say, 3 days(for stability)?...

Im looking for a way to update nametags for players who change their nickname.
Currently I don't have anything that can do it. TAB use to do it, but stopped and there isn't really a great option to change it anywhere.

Server Lags, CPU Usage at 100%, what do i do???
can anyone help me out? my server's cpu usage is wayyy too high, this is it on idle, when i join and fly around wiht an elytra it struggles to keep up and keeps telling me its overloaded 😭

Hi, is it possible to have an optional server resourcepack that doesn‘t prompt players to download it right after they join? Instead I would like it to be easily downloadable later for example through a link in chat or something.

would be fine with custom world gen plugins as well as long as it isnt too invasive, but would prefer to just randomise ores and structures. i know these features exist for fabric servers already, but want to run a paper server.

Best Linux panel?
I know this question has probably been asked a lot but what is the best panel for Linux currently? I switched from pterodactyl to pelican and experienced some ui bugs with pelican, and aikars flags would crash server on boot (weird ik). I’m considering going back to pterodactyl but I’m wondering if maybe there’s a better panel out there (pyrodactyl?)
I also want something that’s future proof so I don’t have to worry about switching on later, and can receive future features & support...

Remove Chat Signing

I installed the plugin AntiPopup (https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/%E2%9C%A8-antipopup-no-chat-reports-and-popup-%E2%9C%A8.103782/) to try to remove this annoying chat reporting feature as well as the popup. Even though I installed it and it's all green when doing /pl, it still doesnt seem to work as my client still says that the server requires messages to be reportable. Is there any setting in server.properties or paper-global.yml which I didn't know about?...
