What kind of specs would I need to host a modded server on my own.

I always see people recommend running a server off and old pc or laptop instead of paying for a server host and I want to give it a try but I'd like to know how powerful of a system I'd need to get so I can get an idea of how much it'd cost me. I often set up mid to large modpack servers with usually around 10-15 of my friends.

auto nickname update on cracked server

So I have a cracked server where people with tLauncher can also join. However, if someone with a premium account changes their name, it's not automatically updated and they're just considered a new player. Do you know of a way to automatically update my entire Velocity network?

No death messages

How does one ban client side commands on a server?

Let’s say I have a mod that has a command that is called /freecam. This command would activate freecam. How would I ban this on my server?

Solution:

Put it in your rules and ban players that use it or find a way to disable the actual thing, so freecam in this case. You can't stop players from executing client-side commands like /freecam afaik

Is there anything in the config of pupur (either Bukkit.yml, Spigot.yml, etc.) that modifies how far you can see item frames?

Help me understand Spark Profiler, I am slow.

I looked at the documentation and at youtube videos but there is one thing I do not understand How am I supposed to tell what is bad and how to follow that path? Since I am on a world and not a server, the youtube videos examples dont give the best example Im not asking someone to just fix my issue, I want to genuinely understand how to use spark profiler past running the commands and getting reports....

full health bar after logging out and logging in to the server

Better way to optimize mobs/mob stacking?

I run a OP skyblock server on paper 1.21.4, and I have only been up for like 9 days now (first server for me), I have about 10-15 daily players and at peak times itll be up at like 22 players. The entities are starting to be a pain, I thought I optimized it pretty good, but I guess not. I use RoseStacker for all stacking and mob stuff and ClearLagg for entity clearing. And before you say the clearlagg message about the tree, I don't have issues with mob spawning, I have issues with the amount of entities there are on the server and if I didnt set up clear lagg, my TPS would probably be at like 10....
