iPhone 16 Pro seems to have a software bug which is causing some issues with touch responsiveness so it's probably not an issue with the game. Please make sure that touching the display with your palm is really not the case, update your iPhone to the latest iOS version and if the issue persists, try searching for any solutions on the internet....
