What Config Settings for Rapido 2 UHF?

When I set up my /config file, the only options under Rapido 2 are CHT or Regular. But I have a UHF. Am I doing it wrong?
Solution:
Maybe share a screenshot, but I think UHF is assumed, and the question is just asking about the nozzle type

Flash control board via DFU

Hey, currently attempting to do the initial flash of the control board. I've followed the documentation to flash the RiPi and update all the packages in the proper order, however when I'm on the control board step of the wizard it's just stuck on "Waiting for DFU". The correct board is selected, the jumper is set and the board status light is now solid instead of blinking so I assume it's properly in DFU mode, but seems it's just not communicating? Under the electronics section of the build gui...

Ratos gives "connection denied" error even when connected with wifi

So I'm setting up my ratos on my RPI (which is connected with ethernet) and it sends off a network wich you can connect to (as it should be). But after connecting and searching ratos.local, http://RatOS.local/configure or http://192.168.50.1/configure it just gives the "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" error.
Solution:
Im coming in late to this, and only skimmed, but I've heard from others that the rpi imager is okay as long as you don't change any of the defaults, and to use balena etcher 1.18 or earlier.

Move exceeds maximum extrusion

I am getting the error message "Move exceeds maximum extrusion (0.361mm^2 vs 0.080mm^2) See the 'max_extrude_cross_section' config option for details"
I have just changed from a 0.6mm nozzle to a 0.25 mm nozzle. ...

Unsupported board - how to get thru the configuration wizard?

Hello all, I run my VCore3 on Klipper for long and because I want to switch to a dedicated RaspberryPi2 for my printer (instead of my Pi4 homeserver running many things additionally) I tried the RatOS image. Works nice so far, but I cannot get past the configuration wizard because my board ( Mellow FLYF407ZG with Stm32f407zgt6 ) is not supported. While I can get RatOS / Mainsail to work by replacing the printer.cfg with my established one, I cannot use for example the Realtime Analysis, because when I try to, I am redirected to the Configurator. ...
Solution:
For starters you will need to compile the board firmware manualy using the data from Mellow for it. Then you can skip the board selection by changing the name on the address bar. Is there is something ended by 1, change to 2. Of 2, change to 3. Etc Then you need to use the user override section to give klipper the propper pins for everything....

Ratos.cfg restoring default values after printer reboot

Hello, I have a Ratrig V-Core 4 500 and i want to modify the run_current (actually at 1.6) in some steppers, because I keep getting an OTPW flag in X and Y drivers. If i change it to 1.3 I don't get the flag. How can I change it permanently? Or is this something I don't have to worry so much? My printer is enclosed, I plan to work with ASA and nylon so it's going to be hot inside the chamber. Thanks in advance!...
Solution:
I solved it! Thank you so much. I copied the section from the RatOS.cfg to the printer.cfg, and added the values I need. Thank you!

Configuring orbitool O2S

So I received my orbitool o2s a few days ago and am trying to set it up but since it's not directly supported by ratos yet, I am having a hard time trying to get the printer to recognize it. Can I even configure it through the setup wizard, or do I have to go through the backend and set it up directly in the config file? I am currently using the ebb42 toolboard.

Extruder temp false reading

After finishing a print yesterday (successfully) I saw that Update manager showed me i could update System (OS Packages). I updated this and this morning when switching on the printer it shows the extruder is 94 degr. C (While it feels room temp), i.e. ik looks like there is a 60 degr. offset (also the extruder fan is on as it believes it is required). Any ideas how this is possible?...

Update

In what order should i update everything? seen people that had problems after updating in the wrong order

Slicer 2.1 docs are a 404 page despite being signed into GitHub

My printer is notifying me of needing to update slicer settings to 2.1 and provides a link: https://github.com/HelgeKeck/RatOS/tree/documentation_v2.1/site/docs/slicers.md However this page is 404. I assumed this was due to me not being signed into GitHub, but even signing in does not fix it....

EBB42 v1.2 via DFU

I am trying to configure an Octopus 11 with an EBB42 v1.2 toolboard but cannot seem to get the toolboard into DFU mode. I have connected the toolboard to the Pi via USB. I have inserted the jumber on the VBUS pins. I have rebooted the Pi several times. There are no illuminated LEDs on the toolboard. The RatOS configurator stays at "Waiting for DFU. Am I missing something? Do I have a bad toolboard?

Temperature error ADC out of range

Hello all, around every third print I receive a temperature error from klipper. ADC out of range or Heater extruder not heating at expected rate It seems to read wrong temperatures from the PT1000 sensor or tells me that the temperatur is out of range or couldn't be reached fast enough. ...
Solution:
I changed both USB cables to 3.1 with 10gbps bandwidth and 18W. The system is still stable after two longer prints. I'm going to observe for some days and check resolved then.

Some command to retry wifi connection without reboot

I've recently "upgraded" my home network to Ubiquiti, and it seems like it has given me unreliable internet. This, of course, isn't Ratos's problem, but it seems like the setup is quite impatient with trying spotty wifi connections, and really quickly reverts back to creating the RatOS wifi setup hotspot. Is there a way to tell ratos to instead just keep trying for a bit longer, without needing to reboot the entire rpi? A slight tangent: Any ideas why my rpi4 can see multiple copies of the same network? Yes, I have multiple hotspots and a mesh network, but it seems like if i pick the wrong one, it refuses to connect. Looks like I need to randomly pick the base station's wifi to connect (which is quite far away)?...

Idex Preheat Tool before actual printing movements

Is there a way to preheat the tool before it is actually used? I always have to wait (around 15-30secs) till the hotend reaches the desired temperature (coming up from the standby temperature) and continues printing. Is there a available macro or maybe a script to sort this out?...

VAOC camera + crowsnest causing causing system freezes (chamber camera fine)

I have been able to use the VAOC camera successfully for dozens of prints over the last 2 months. Just yesterday the OS started freezing up. It's taking 10s per keystroke to SSH in, mainsail won't load. Then it seems to crash after a few minutes.
When I reboot it's accessible for about 30s. Which is long enough to systemctl stop crowsnest which instantly unfreezes the system. If I instead watch journalctl logs, there is no indication of anything wrong. It all appears normal until it freezes and I get disconnected. If I comment out the VAOC camera from crowsnest.conf, everything works fine including chamber camera. If I leave VAOC but comment out chamber cam, it seizes up. So definitely something wrong with the VAOC camera....

Error when starting prints with 2 Extruders

Everytime when I try to start a print that is sliced with 2 toolheads (1 for the actual object and 1 for support material) this message comes: Error evaluating 'gcode_macro START_PRINT:gcode': jinja2.exceptions.UndefinedError: list object has no element 1 When the file is sliced with only one extruder working everything works just fine. My slicer config matches the given one on the ratos documentation. I tried both prusa slicer and super slicer but the problem remains....
